The hits keep coming. Got this email from the Redskins owner. These two guys are the reason online gaming sucks. First off, this think tank sent this to just me, thinking he was mass emailing the league; I just had to share.

Look you all cant play! In real football QB'S like VICK and MCNABB run balls forever if they can. You CAN NOT cripple a team by taking away the ability of a QB. I did not run up the score on N.O I PLAYED FOOTBALL. HE JUST SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!
You guys do not play REAL FOOTBALL you go by your own rules so you guys have a chance to win. SORRY for F*CKING with your league, you guys are not even close to our level any time you want to play a real game you know my tag.

Isn't he just darling?

From the way the Skins ended their 27 point blowout, I'd definitely keep an eye on him...

1:49 1-10 at WAS 43. Chris Cooley (WAS) ran up middle for 7 yards (Allen)
1:37 2-3 at NO 50. Clinton Portis (WAS) ran right side for 13 yards (Jones)
1:03 1-10 at NO 37. Clinton Portis (WAS) ran left side for 4 yards (Bellamy)
0:29 2-6 at NO 33. Mark Brunell (WAS) pass right side complete to Rod Gardner (WAS) for 20 yards (Thomas)
Plus, midway through the 4th, up 27-0, he went for it in his own territory on 4th down. I can handle getting my ass beaten by someone, but I don't like guys who try and prolong what's an obvious win.
i f***in sacked him on that play! i couldn't believe he was going for it!

34-0 Hip...that's cause for suckage. ;)

Seriously I'm kinda glad it happened now rather than week 8. These two seem perfect for each other, and it's best that they leave at the same time. I just love that he emailed that to me personally thinking it was a mass email. Classic.

grtwhtsk, I need your XBL Gamertag. "grtwhtsk" didn't register.

I lost McNabb in week 1 for 2 games. Don't expect Detmer or Blake to light up the scoreboard when we meet in week 2.

I am disappointed because I was looking forward to my Thomas Jones/Clinton Portis matchup with Dreadskin. And these douchebags didn't get that it wasn't the losing anyone was complaining about.

Bill, sorry you had to get out the pooper scooper. Maybe now we can play football instead of "padding stats" and winning that invisible Sega trophy.

Bill, it is grtwhtsk1.

I was on last night, and could not find the league. I did a number of searches and nothing came up (hit the black button and tried typing it in). Could you, or someone else, please PM me with the league info again? I don't know why the league wouldn't come up. Is it because the league was already full?

My xbox has 2 buttons, one to eject the disk and the other to turn off the system. I don't hesitate to use the off button online when I play someone that is unsportsman like.

P.S. Thanks Bill for running the league, don't hesitate to look over this post and others thanking you when you feel like pulling the plug. The commish jobs is very tough!

I am at a total friggin loss. I have been trying to get grtwhtsk1 added to the league for an hour. Why is it when I go to the JoinSeason screen that the name of our league wont even FIT when you type it in? When you guys all joined up, I assume there wasnt a problem with you entering in DSP Blog League? All i can type in now is DSP Blog Leagu

But when I go to create season, it allows me to use 15 characters. I can retype in DSP Blog League w/o a problem. WTF is going on?

It didn't allow me to put the whole name it...it found it though when I searched with what I could fit.

They have to accept invites via the webpage for some reason. Weird.

Anyway, we have advanced to week 2. 10/10 deadline for Week 2 games.

What the hell happened on the site? How did it decide who won and lost and who's playing with Washington now? Sheesh...the sh*t hit the fan.

I have replacement players ready to take over the three teams that need owners but I had to advance the week so we could keep going. I flipped a coin to see who would win the two "unplayed" games and the new owners should be in place any day now. No fan needed.

Oh, and have you and Badgun kissed and made up so that you can play your game this week? I was hoping all the venom spat at the Washington and Atlanta doofuses kinda diverted tension. :)

I don't have a problem with him...he seems to have a problem with me though. I sent him a nice email so we'll see if he is willing to play.

I accepted the invite on the website.

Laurenskye - I guess we are up. Let me know what days and times work for you. I'm on Central Time. Thanks.

Thank you Bill for all your hard work in getting this worked out.

Laurenskye - Sorry, I had to run out, and didn't get back until pretty late. Are you up for a game tonight (before or after MNF)? I also have a hockey game to play, and I'm working on getting that scheduled. Thanks.
