AT that time yes I did work for EA and was shitting on my own company's baseball game and favoring the competition. Even though I had nothing to do w/ the baseball developers at the company. Luckily nothing happened but what a wild time.
This is absolutely the most "on brand" thing that I would expect in the history of forums for you. :D

Work your magic and have EA bring back Triple Play or MVP Baseball. Or for that matter, make a new Super Mega Baseball, those bastards!

I am still around as well. Still gaming but now retired. Still come on once in a while to check out the music thread to see what’s new or to check when a new sports game comes out. This place was way ahead of the curve and made the great decision to drop all political discussion (a great move).

I switched to PlayStation 4 because of the way XboxOne started out. I almost completely fell out of gaming, but the Xbox Series X got me through the Covid years with game pass and their focus on backward compatibility and improving frame rates for older games. Not sure what I will do going forward. Usually by this point in the cycle you can pick up a used console on the cheap and I could see what I missed on PS5, but those days are gone.

We moved north a few years back to be closer to my family. This winter really sucked. I think my old plan of dropping dead working in the yard in the Georgia heat is better than dropping dead shoveling snow.

yes i remember you kevinpars. i think we played NHL 2K something - the first one on xbox live - back in the day and had a bunch of fun games.

Are you from PA? I remember there were two guys from PA that I use to play that NHL game on a regular basis back in the day along with you.

Remember back when this all started and we could go into electronics boutique and buy three different games of the same sport (that were all released within days of each other)....take them home and try them out...pick one for the season and return the rest with no questions asked??
