London has a lot of bankers but are they football fans?

Anyways, Eto'o is nearing the end of his career and got maybe the biggest contract in the history of sports. Imagine if they got a couple of bigger names.

It would draw a lot of football attention but it sounds like Russian billionaires prefer to hang out themselves in Western Europe.

8 teams in the top 2 tiers of English football seem to have found a few football fans.

ESPN3 has an absolute ton of games on this weekend, including some entertaining Euro qualifiers today and Monday.

Gorgeous third goal by England today against Bulgaria. Tic-tac-Rooney's toe for a tap-in.

Ashley Young is playing out of his skull right now, for club and country.

Has anyone watched the recent matches since Klinsmann took over? I don't know if it's me but for some reason the USA Team seems to have a quicker pace to it's game along with trying to push the ball forward.

Agreed Rob but the US had sooooo many wasted opportunities just given away. The open shot that Landy cakes missed. I do see a higher tempo game from the US side and during the match the ESPN crew did say that they expect Klinsmann to overhaul the roster to his liking.

Fabio Capello is dispatching agents to see if he is eligible for England. Anybody that poor at PK's has to play for the Three Lions.

Not sure he'd be suitable for England. I mean he does actually get the kick on target and works the keeper, as it were. In fact, we're probably not giving the keeper enough credit here. He does a very professional job in maintaining his composure to keep that one out. Fabio could probably do worse than have a closer look at him.

Bayern is continuing their every other year formula and look good again. Rossi had some moments himself even though they didn't score.

Was Rooney mocking Terry by slipping and skewing a penalty wide to the right?

I'm watching the match in SD because the FSC HD transmission is constantly breaking up. This doesn't happen on any of my other FIOS HD channels.

One of the most epic misses ever by Torres. How in the world does an EPL star miss an open net from that close? Bizarre.
