Last chance to get into the Fantasy League before the first ball is kicked, fellas.
Last chance for me to enjoy a Friday night before City are actually expected to do well....my experience of this in the past is that this is not a situation which the team usually reacts to in a good way.

In the BBC podcast, I think it was, they said EPL clubs and fans better just suck it up and accommodate the English team in whatever ways needed, because England has a real chance (after winning 7 qualifiers).
They said WC is the real prize, not EPL, not CL, so they better not squawk about players having to play on the national team and any schedule conflict.

Ill be up early tomorrow to take it all in.... and to scream at my fantasy players for missing sitters waking up the house.

epltalk is reporting its official now.fsquid wrote:ESPN will get the rights to the 7:45 Saturday kickoff and the 3:30 Monday kickoff. No clue about HD. The deal was announced a few weeks ago, but for some reason hasn't been concluded.pk500 wrote:What are the specifics of the proposed deal, Squidly? How much EPL will ESPN show in the States?fsquid wrote:FSC and ESPN still haven't finalized their agreement, so if you want to see Jozy's debut, you might be up a creek.

Everton were atrocious. I'd rather City spent £20m on Cahill and told Gollum to f**k off, after all he's the one splurging the details all over the papers.JRod wrote:Wow Everton needs to sell lescott and spend that money fixing the squad.
I don't think its any indication how good Arsenal will be. I think they are still the 4th place team without any new additions now or in the winter.
For the first 25 mins Arsenal weren't that good, just Everton weren't good at all, with no ambition and no one would could pass forward, although Jo is usually offside when that happens. Then Everton collapsed. And then I laughed.

Hat trick for Ameobi in the Championship as the Magpies win. Tumbleweeds blowing across the screen, with the sound resembling an echo chamber ...
At least the fans gave Ashley an earful. Duff headed to Fulham as the off-field madness continues.
Take care,
PK

Taylor will probably go to which ever club City raid for another centre back.

Yep. His comments last week that the club was a joke -- truer words never spoken -- probably didn't endear him to whatever joke of a management team is still occupying the front office at St. James Park.davet010 wrote:Taylor will probably go to which ever club City raid for another centre back.

I'll look to the torrents or JustinTV. I'm learning it's a real labor of love to follow a team in the Championship!fsquid wrote:Newcastle and Wednesday on Wednesday.

Every teams favorite manager is off to a flyer, because Babel was soo good mid week against England and Kuyt was crap.
Benyoun on the bench, takes off Kuyt for vorinin and leaves Macherano and lucas on , yep Rafa they really pushed on didnt they?
Get up Torres you piece of ...
Unless Benyoun starts or they get some other players in Liverpool are looking at 6 or 7th at best.
Well at least my Fantasy team reflects Liverpools performance i knew i should have gone with my gut and not read any pundits im off to play my wild card.
A brilliant start of the season for me ...blahhh
