You got it. I don't plan to be on to play until a little later, but I'll log on to shoot you an invite if you haven't gotten one already (I set Sport73 up as a Manager too as he was the first one to call for 360 signups)Naples39 wrote:I'll get in on this if there's still room.
Will resend an invite as I couldn't get one to you yesterday.Macca00 wrote:send me an invite

At least we're not getting into any of that ugly finger pointing again!- Center should be calling for the puck from the wingers when open for a one timer. I didn't hear that once last night. Our wingers just kept taking the low percentage shots and the center hoped for a lucky rebound.

Why not just right, "hey Neely, stay the f**k out of the box" too!!
In seriousness, more chatter for sure. I should be on later too. Can't wait.
Good games tonight guys.... Finally at the end of the night EA's servers seemed to get a little stabler as we managed to finish the night with three consecutive cup games. Plus I see some of you participated in a lopsided 9-3 victory over FGT Slayers.
Overall, we are 3-5 in cup matches. We just need to work on the basics and I'm sure our overall game will improve.
Hopefully the more reliable connections at the end of the night are a sign of things to come with the game servers as I'm having a blast in the mode.
Don't forget to edit your online BAP as every stat point will help

I think Leadfoot and I were in that one. We had a blast. It's always a good feeling when you win one but to be fair the other dudes had a human goalie. The servers were hit and miss so instead of waiting for everyone we decided to go ahead.GameSeven wrote:Good games tonight guys.... Thanks..10spro wrote:It's the EA servers. I was corresponding with G7 the last couple of nights and he was darn sure that an invite was sent, yet I didn't see it. Best thing is to hang around the dressing room, but even then, waiting forever is not a solution either.MizzouRah wrote:I didn't see an invite either.
Yep, 10spro and myself scored a win for the good guys!! It was fun game, and I don't mind that we were able to take advantage of the human goalie after the tough losses DSP suffered 2 nights ago.10spro wrote:I think Leadfoot and I were in that one. 10spro plays a great Power Forward guys. He does a great job of fighting for the puck in the offensive corner and passing the puck to the slot for the quick chance. I think he may lead the team in assists before too long.
Sure hope the servers stabilize soon. This game is just too damn fun...

Having said that I struggled in the faceoff department the next game where we lost 0-2, Leadfoot.Leadfoot5 wrote: 10spro plays a great Power Forward guys. I've tried many times to send an invite to:MizzouRah wrote:I didn't see an invite either.

Is that right? I've encountered two types of failures when trying to send requests.
1. "Failure to send invitation" which I believe I had tracked down to folks who had not created their online BAP at the time.
2. "Can not find username" or some such error. Also known as the mizzou error as your tag is the only one that I get this for. Let me know if I have the right GT...
From the top menu, go to 'performance tracker.' I'm pretty sure this is where you can edit as well as level up your online BAP character. The 'be a pro' in the game modes sub-menu is just for offline BAP.10spro wrote:My problem is that the name of my created BAP player does not transfer into online OTP. Any suggestions?
Yeah but he's a playmaker type, just like me. We have way too many playmakers and no grinders. I'm thinking about changing up my guy to grinder, and I wonder what it does with the points you've earned so far when you change your player type.Leadfoot5 wrote:10spro plays a great Power Forward guys. Your online and offline BAP will be the same. OTP play can be set up to either play with the official team rosters, or BAP rules. In BAP rules, you will use your BAP player and any empty slots on each side will be filled by "generic" players with average attributes and random names.Naples39 wrote:I think there's something more to it than having separate BAP.
I haven't created anything for online BAP, yet for one online match last night it was using my offline BAP name, appearance and attributes. Granted that particular match was a glitchy mess, so who knows.
Note that though your BAP persona will be used, your stats for your on and offline BAP can be different.
This link seems to describe the mode pretty well:greggsand wrote:Hey, I'm thinking of getting this game & I'm trying figure out what u guys are talking about here. Are you (or can you) play 6 on 6 or something?? How's this all working?? It sounds like you're having fun whatever it is...

It *is* a lot of fun and is only one facet (although perhaps its most distinct) of the whole game.
