I picked up the PS3 version when my 360 went into the crapper, and I've seen a lot more things in this game than what I saw on the 360. I wonder if that is actually true, or if I just notice things more. Not sure which it is.
Well, weren't there two separate development teams? One assigned to the 360 and one for the PS3? I honestly can't recall their being more animations in the PS3 version, but it's been so long since I played the 360 version.

Anywhere from 35-60 is fairly normal...the top and bottom happening less frequently of course. The top teams are usually around or just above 50% for the season. The bottom teams, around 42% or so.
Edit: As I just looked them up...the worst team is the Bulls at 42.44% and the best is the Suns at 49.34% so I was pretty damn close. LOL.
Basketball is the sport I know the least about, yet year after year I buy NBA2kx just because I think it's such a polished sport sim, lol.
I'm glad this year the play diabram shows on the floor, that helps me a lot.
One thing I hate though (even tho it's probably realistic) is when my team (ya ya, I play as the Raptors, so maybe it's not far off) is on a cold streak, it seems I'm punished even on easy layups, or short shots a blind monkey could make........
However, I do love this game, and wish NHL2k8 had half of this polish.......

I use Bizcanos(??) sliders from OS. I've tweaked them a bit myself, mostly to lower the CPU shooting a tad.
I'm definately no NBA pro, but just when I seem to think the sliders are wacked (both teams shooting 50% in a game for example) I'll have one where we both shoot low 40;s.....
I have no idea what the averages are in real life, I assume 45% for FG percentage????
I'm not a OS guy, could you post them? And yes, most games teams shoot in the low to mid 40%...

Man, it's a lot more fun to play as the Sixers with Elton Brand! My team is relevant again in videogame basketball. I grabbed an updated roster file and now I'm ready to play some summer hoops (wish I could play real summer hoops but my knees are worse than Jeff Ruland's).
