Jared: I never said that, I was basically questioning why he would want to play in a league with a game he does not like. Just seems weird to me LOL.
Thanks, but no good. I click on Lobby and get ths same message.
Zeppo messed with your Live settings so you can only log in to the Shadowrun servers. He's still working on a way to disable our single-player abilities.

Tried to find an answer at EA's website. This was as good as I could come up with:
Question
Why am I unable to connect to Electronic Arts games using my Xbox Live Gamertag? I can connect to other games using this Gamertag, but not EA games!
Answer
This used to occur if you were using an Xbox Live Gamertag that was previously linked to another EA account. Most often, this would occur when someone created a Gamertag and linked it to an EA account, but then had their Gamertag deleted. The Gamertag could then become available for another player to use, but would still be linked to the old EA account in the EA system. When this happened, the server would look to verify against the old EA account and fail. The most common errors received were:
* 'An EA Server is not available at this time.'
* 'The EA Servers are currently unavailable.'
This issue has been corrected. Now, Gamertags that fall under this previously problematic category will be able to login and play online instead of failing verification.
If you are still having issues logging in to play online, try setting the system clock on your Microsoft Xbox to 11/15/2001 before attempting to login. To do this, follow the steps provided below:
1. Start your Xbox without a disk in the drive.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Choose Clock.
4. Set the date to 11/15/2001.
5. Start the game and try to connect online.
This often works with players who experience a sudden inability to connect to Xbox Live.
If the issue persists only on EA titles, please use the Contact Us tab above; please include as much information as possible so that a Technical Support Representative may research your issue.
I did notice that when I connected for the first time in this game, it made me create a new EA online account somehow, but I don't think that's really your problem, because it should force you to do that if it's the issue.
Of course, trying to use their support area kept leading me to 'issues connecting to Xbox Live.' Ugh.
SEMINOLE wrote:So now comes my next question, why did you sign up for the DSP league? Its obvious from your thoughts you won't be around long for it since you do not like the game.
He can not like the game, but still play in the league. Blub has been in LOTS of NCAA leagues, going back to the SR days...if he says he'll play in a league, he'll play.
Thanks Jared, yes I'm in until the bitter end. Doesn't mean I'll stop bitching about the game tho' .
I'm glad lots of folks are enjoying, really. I'm fairly sure that some of the issues are particular to my system or to the way I'm used to things from past years. I'm still hopeful I can pin down the problems and come up with workarounds or improve my skills. Still, I'm pretty disappointed at the things left out that I think we all assumed would be in the second year of the series on 360, like IAA and multiple cameras.
Thanks for that footwork, Zep. That's not my situation, at least I think it highly unlikely that someone else had my Gamertag But I'll give it a try anyway.

Is anyone else having issues with the Weather Channel Live Feed Weather? Every time I use it, it just comes up at 75 degrees...every time. Isn't it supposed to be dynamic based on the current location and temps?

Need to log into EA live or whatever it's called.

Alright...thanks. Just read that on OS. I appreciate it.
I log into Xbox Live every time I turn on my 360...What do you mean by log onto the EA Servers? How do I do that? Do I have to hit Xbox Live in NCAA to get on the Servers?

It's a EA specific service that you have to log into via the NCAA game.

If the ESPN radio thingy comes on am I signed in?
I think I am signed in but when I do the weather feed like 1 out of 10 stadiums weather is showing up when I go through them.
I've been sitting back and reading impressions here and at OS and haven't picked up this year's 360 version yet because I wanted to see if my biggest issues from 07 were fixed.
One of the big problems I had was running to the outside on the option was too easy, and from the impressions here it seems that has been fixed.
My second major issue with 07 was that the CPU would throw way too many interceptions and as a result, the CPU was easy as hell to beat. I was seeing this on Heisman with human Awareness at 10 and Knockdowns and Interceptions at zero.
For anyone who has the game this year and has been picking off a lot of CPU passes, are you beating the crap out of the CPU as a result? I can deal with more interceptions than you'd see in a "realistic" college football sim, as long as the game remains challenging and fun.
Anyone know how to bluff the call in multplayer on the same machine. You could do this last year, but it seems like it has been removed. Which makes playing on the same system a moot point if you can see each other play choices.

What?!? That would be ridiculous if EA take that out.

Well if you can figure out how to do it let me know.
In the play call screen
A - selects play
Y - zooms in the playbook
X - Change the package
B - backs you out a menu
RT - Flips play
I tried everything that is left and nothing worked. It's not like there is any documentation to consult.

From what I remember from the 6-page manual I think what you do is hold the A button down and then you can continue to flip around the play selections, and when you let go the play selection vanishes, but whatever play you originally pushed the button on is the one you called. Does that make sense? If you want to cancel, you can hit the B button before releasing the A button, and then pick another play.
Why do you have to be a Gold member to get ESPN features in NCAA? And why isn't that made clear up front to customers? I can get sports highlights as a Silver member in 2K's game but not in EA's game? Is it because the radio highlights use a lot of bandwidth? That would at least make some sense, because as a Silver member I don't help pay the bills
I actually am using a modified AA sliders now, after going through 7 games in an FSU dynasty I was 4-3 While this can happen I just wasn't happy with it so I found some sliders on OS and modified to my liking a bit. Seems OK so far. I did try on Heisman with some OS sliders and was getting SMOKED by the half and I didn't get one first down.
I have been unable to upload a video or photo since I've had the game. Everytime I try it say Upload in progress and it never leaves that screen. Last night I let if go for 45 minutes.
I have not heard of anyone else having this problem. Has anyone else heard anything?
Thanks
