Will do, G. Soon as I can...
And here's one I did for my boys-they love it. Gotta tweak some stuff, but it's mostly done...
I'm getting used to some of the more nuanced stuff, like shading and what not. The fading on McQueen's numbers has been a real test. I think I've got the idea now, but just need to work on it some more. My little guys flipped over it...

Here's my DSP Charger:
I still have work to do on the front, hood, and back but the sides are pretty much done.

Fantastic, Scoop! You did the hard work with the text-I was too lazy to do it. Is it all shapes, or were you able to augment existing letters? If you did all that from little shapes, my hat's off to you...
And thanks, 34...it's one of my favorite things to do...I'm workin' on Chick Hicks from the Cars movie right now...he's MUCH easier than Lightning...

Basically you have to 'gift' a car to someone with the paintjob on it. They can take the paint job and save it, then 'gift' the car back to you. There's a way to save a paintscheme in the options of the painting section...

Yeah, one of my boys IS Chick, and the other IS Lightning, when they're playing, so they have a vested interest in my current car designs...

Teal,
I don't know why, but I'm starting to collect cars... Any chance I could get a Lightning?
Anybody know how to find the "better" cars in the auction? I'm going to have to race some more to raise some funds. I picked up a decent Gears car...

I've got to see if I get can a picture of mine. It's really weird that you guys started a fore skin show-off thread, but OK.

Trade ya a Lightning skin for a Gears skin...you got a Fairlady Z you can gift me? I'll slap it on there and send it back, and send you a car to do the Gears skin on for me...

That redskin emblem is great if you did it yourself.

I like your paint scheme a lot. I tend to slack off once I get the main part done.

If there was any doubt before its official now...Ive lost my mind.
My attempt at a Petty 72 Charger...too bad the game doesnt have a 72 Charger and that I got too tired to make the baby decals that the game doesnt have....Once you get a little bit of an idea how to do it it gets addictive.
