Nope, still haven't figured it out. Again, does anyone know how you challenge someone who is on your friend's list in this game?Leebo33 wrote:Did you figure it out Dan? Feel free to send me an invite if you see me online sometime. I've only played online once, but it was fun.
If no one knows, I might just have to resort to asking this question at gamefaqs.

Saw this on Spike tv's site for unlocking the Burger King Guy:
All hail the King and his contender, the piping hot Rey Mo! They're going to flip the fight game over and flame-broil it until you scream for more. To unlock this delectable duo, simply put in the following as your first or last name in "Create Champ" mode:
YaxKukMo
Rey will then be a locked boxer for all game modes from the start until the Burger King Sponsored fight is complete (win or lose) in Career Mode. Once the Burger King Sponsored fight is completed, Rey will be unlocked and can be used as a career boxer and will available in Play Now and Hard Hits Mode!

Are you guys playing online? I have only tried it once. We need to have a FN3 "fight night" or a tourney before people start getting rid of the game.
I still love the boxing in this game and think it has a lot of promise for the future, but man is the career mode stupid. The shortcomings have been well documented elsewhere so I won't cover them, but they are spot on. The career mode in FN3 is just *slightly* better than having none at all IMO.
I also saw somewhere that Take Two is releasing a boxing game.

I'm up for playing this game online anytime. I made the mistake of getting rid of this game too soon last year. I don't think I'll play this game all the time, but I think it does have value when playing online or against a friend.
In regards to the career mode, I try not to read all the negativity. It definitely could use some major improvement, but I'm not necessarily looking for an ultra sim boxing game. Thus, I'm quite happy with the career mode.
Graphically, this is a fantastic game to show off the power of the 360.

If you need an extra body let me know and I'd participate in an online tourney as well.
Sportdan, I'd echo those sentiments, but I suspect the deeper you get into career mode the more disappointed you'll get in it. The experience quite literally devolves over time. Winning the title borders on anti-climactic by the time you get there. It's a shame because the boxing part of it is a hell of a lot of fun.

I gameflyed this game. As yet, the only fight I've had was with Scoop online, Ray "get me some Church's" Leonard against LaMotta.ScoopBrady wrote:I've only played it once online as well. I'd definitely be up for some sort of tourney or poker night with this title.
If there were a big DSP tourney, either classic fighters or some kind of points limit created guys, I am all in.

Well, it looks like the interest is there. We already have 7 and there are plenty of more DSPers with the game. Does anyone with multiplayer experience have any suggestions on what appears to be the best format (weight class, settings, boxers, etc)?
I had to go to bed early last night (sorry, Terry...saw the invite but had to decline), but I can participate in some sparring tonight or tomorrow (I figure interest will be low on Thurs/Friday with the tourney) if anyone is interested.
I switched to the Swing camera last night (don't ask what took me so long) and it's like a whole different game.
