I have no problem with picking up an extra game or two each week if it helps keep the league going.

I can play extras, and I can also find a legit player or two as fill-ins possibly.

Figures that this happens in the first league I've ever had success in

Bill,
I'll also do extra games, but I think it wouldn't hurt to start drafting people that we know have the game. I have a buddy that has it and I'll ask him tomorrow if he'll step in and take over a team. He's a Cowboy man like me, but he would probably agree to take someone like Detroit, Green Bay, or Seattle. Also, pk has the game...maybe he'll step in and help us out.

Thanks guys.

Well Washington is playing Chicago right now, so the Skins are still ok. I saw Fshguy playing Halo 2 and I sent him a PM. No idea there.

Deadline is the 16th, so any recruiting will have to be quick.

DB, you seen Cincy?

Bill, Fshguy emailed me today. It seems he's still interested.

Unfortunately, taking so long to contact me has put us in a bind. I'm extremely busy these next couple of days and wouldn't be able to get our game in until Friday at the earliest.

Damn what is it with this guy. He did the same thing to Dan last week, waited until like the 7th day to reply. OK well if he can play Friday night Sully I can hold off on rolling the week over; we still have several games to play so we can wait a bit.

Bill,

Cincy and I are having trouble meeting up. My two vacations are basically killing us. So if we don't get it in tonight (I'm leaving again tomorrow until next monday) just award Cincy the win since he's in town and I'm not. I'm gonna try to get it in tonight with him though so we'll see if that materializes.

I'll play extra games. Or I could co-own and take over Detroit.

I played the Washington owner last night, and he was fine. No mic, but no shenanigans, he played very straight up.

I did lose Grossman for the season, though. Are we past the trade deadline?

I can also pick up an extra game a week, no problems. I don't care if we get assigned a team or get to play with a different team each week, I think it would be a nice change of pace.

Bill,

Just give Cincy the win in our game. I didn't connect with him last night and I'm going to be busy until next Monday night (Vegas baby, Vegas!).

Brando, I've got Jeff Blake, if you're interested. He's nothing spectacular, but he's a solid backup.

Maybe we can work out some kind of package deal (2 for 2, 3 for 3) that involves Anthony Thomas? I lost Westbrook for the season, and Levens isn't going to cut it.

BK lets get this game in. I'm free pretty much all day and all night tomorrow.

Also, thanks for all of the people who offered to take on some extra games. Who wants the Lions this week? They play Oakland. We'd need to get this game in by Friday night if we can. I'll take the first to reply. Thanks guys.

Bill,
I'll take the LIons. How do we do this? I thought the game wouldn't let you control 2 teams?
