Ouch, worst of the human-controlled teams. Not that I don't deserve it, but I just can't inspire these lollygaggers to play football. Maybe I need to pull a Singletary and drop my pants at halftime.

Rams survive a penalty filled performance (4-0 as the zebras thought they were in Louisiana for some f***ed up reason) and a 7-6 half time deficit to defeat the CPU Saints 19-7 in a very rare turnover free game for both sides.
Down 7-6, a twilight zone inspiringly accurate Bulger(16-18 232 1-0), hits "butterfingers" Avery streaking all alone down the sideline on this 49 yard bomb to put the Rams up for good.

Jackson puts the game away in the 4th qtr as he cuts back to daylight on this 3 yd TD run.

The Bears easily dismissed the 49ers 31-10 in a game pretty much devoid of any excitement. The Niners could muster only 162 yards of total offense, 62 of which came on a long TD run by Frank Gore.

The Bears featured Matt Forte once again, who rushed 21 times for 154 yards and 2 TDs. Devin Hester caught 4 balls for 120 yards, and Greg Olsen and Michael Gaines each added a TD. The Olsen TD was pretty spectacular.

Generally a pretty dull game. My 360 crapped out twice more tonight...once mid first-quarter of my game and again as I tried to upload more highlights, so I'm hitting the sack instead of posting more. Getting an elite this weekend come hell or highwater.

I work a double today and won't be home until Saturday morning. Let me know when its good for you this weekend. We could play in the morning one day if need be.

No problem Nozzleman. I was tired last night too and crashed when I didn't see you get on by 10:50. I work tomorrow until 3:00 and have something going on with the family early evening. I'm taking my daughter to her first Bears game Sunday so I couldn't play on Sunday until 6:00 at the earliest. I'll see how early I can get home Saturday night. I wouldn't think I'd be out much past 8 or 9 since it's a girl scouts thing. Does Saturday night work for you?

Dick Jauron!!!!

Post by tmdba37 »

I can't believe that a Dick Jauron led team actually. . .

Successfully scored three points on their opening drive. . . :)

Anyway, it wasn't exactly the triple option, but the Titans go old school and out rush the lowly Bills 214-17 and beat good old D.Jauron 56-13.

Chris Johnson once again led the Titans multi-player rushing attack with a 101 yard two TD effort on only 16 carries. . .

Vince Young stretched his legs and ran for 72 Yards and 2 TD and Lendale White added a TD both on the ground and in the air as well. . .

Add in a TO Fumble that was returned to the house by Cortland Finnegan and a KO Return for TD by Mark Jones and you have all the ingredients for an old fashioned arse kicking!

The Titans get back to reality next week with a game against the Texans and if anyone cares, the Bills, well they're going to be destroyed by the Jaguars--I have Wayne good for at least 50 against this misguided pass happy bunch of clowns. . .

Man, I wish I could remember my first Redskins game, but I was so wee! She is gonna absolutely love it, even though her little ears might get a little angry at the noise. And don't let her eat too many hot dogs! That is one thing I remember from when I was very small - puking up in the back of the station wagon because I ate WAY too many hot dogs at RFK. Blech. I couldn't eat another RFK hot dog for many years.

You need to explain to her what a QB is. Most of us grew up in complete ignorance of that type of animal. :)

When we played last week Barber really gave me fits. The Barber/Whitten combo is one of the best in football. You established the run early with him and had great offensive balance throughout. It will be interesting to see how Jones does in his place.

Just give away my gameplan why don't you. :D

It will definitely be interesting. I'll have to come up with plays to utilize Jones' speed since I'm used to using Barber's power.

We flip tomorrow night at midnight, please let me know if Mac doesn't get in touch with you.

Mac if you can't play you said you would temp leave the league so the owners could play their games against the CPU. Please start posting when you're doing this and when you're not. It very tough for many owners to schedule around your timing when we don't know what is going on.

In a near upset by the CPU Buccaneers, the Dolphins, led by a kick return and a punt return for a touchdown by Ted Ginn, defeated the Bucs 35-21. The Miami Dolphins went down 21-7 in the second quarter, as the Dolphins couldn't get pressure on Leftwich and shredded the Miami secondary. The only Dolphins score was a kickoff return from Ted Ginn in the second quarter. On the final drive in the first half, Miami drove the length of the field and scored on a pass to Ronnie Brown where he just crossed the goal line with four seconds left.

Miami then made adjustments to counter Tampa's passing game, and tied the game on a 1 yard touchdown run by Patrick Cobbs. On their next possession, Tampa punted to Ted Ginn, who returned the punt return to take the lead for good. Miami iced the game with a meaningless touchdown in the game's final moments.

Leftwich was 18/25 with 243 yards, 3 TDs and no INTs. Pennington was 14-17 with 143 yards passing and a touchdown.

I'm supposed to play grtwhtshk1 (Patriots) but I haven't seen him around the last few days. I'd love to play early in the day on Sunday if possible.

Patriots beat the Colts 17-0. Brady went 10/18 with a TD pass, and a TD run (sneak of course). Ben Watson led the Pats WR with 4 catches. Moss had 2 catches and 1 TD. For the Colts, Manning was 14/24 for 87 yds. I can't remember if it was 1 or 2 INTs thrown (I can't get into the website for the stats). Collie was the Colts leading receiver with 5 catches.

Good game Badgun.

Sorry for the crummy writeup. Have family stuff going on, and just rushed this game in.
