Good game Atxj. Definitely took advantage of my mistakes...was competitive throughout.
Rob,
I can play tonight, though I may not have sound (can't find my mic in the move). I'm down with 10pm central if you are.
And to all my other opponents:
Sorry about the delay in playing...but I will be available today thru Saturday. PM me for times and what not.

Great game Rob. The tying goal and winning goal were both scored by substitutes minutes after they came onto the pitch. Game was back and forth, end to end action. Great fun.

Newcastle United and Werder Bremen put on an instant classic tonight. A rip-roaring affair with goals aplenty and topsy turvy momentum swings that had supporters of both sides out of their seats over and over again.
Newcastle got started early with Ameobi rocketing home a splendid volley off of an Emre corner kick in the seventh minute. They added to their advantage in the 26th minute, with Jermaine Jenas' daisy cutter freezing the German keeper.
Werder Bremen were unbowed however, with talisman Miroslav Klose responding immediately after the restart with a lifeline strike from 20 yards that found the top right corner. Newcastle skipper Harry Shearer restored the two goal advantage just six minutes later with a breakaway goal. Klose waited five minutes before responding in kind, sending the teams into the break with Newcastle hanging onto a 3-2 advantage.
Momentum swung back and forth until Michael Owen struck for his first goal of the season, beating a belaguered keeper one-on-one in the 63rd minute. Newcastle's two goal advantage evaporated in the blink of an eye however, as Klose completed his hat trick in the 82' and saw Valdez draw them even in the 84th minute. Despite their shambolic defense and the momentum favoring Werder Bremen, Newcastle sub Chopra seized the mantle of hero by driving home the game winner in injury time.
What a fuc&ing game, At! You need to add Valdez to the league module for his goal. Looking forward to our next matchup.

Just an FYI. We've had some friends just stop by and that may interfere with our 10:30 match. I am still going to try to make it but I wanted to give you teh heads up in the event I don't make an appearance. I will update here again as we get closer to 10:30.
Fifa
Fifa,
That's fine. I'm feeling a bit under the weather so it worked for me too.
I'll be online periodically quite a bit this weekend except maybe Sunday night.
