Played a quick period before work...Blues vs Flyers....game looks amazing. Both the Blues and Flyers jersey's look fantastic. Gameplay was a great...felt like hockey to me. Played on defaults but might kick the speed up a notch tonight but was very happy with the gameplay that I saw.

Had a chance to play some OTP. Man I just missed this mode so much. Playing with randoms is not the same obviously but boy was I thinking of the Dragons during my games. Still had fun while at it and I guess even though you're not playing your created player there could be a way to get us all playing this mode together. We would all get in a party first and on a 1-2-3 GO click at the same time. Not the most efficient way to get us back but boy this mode is so much fun.

I was trying to do this w/ my friends so we're all on at once in OTP. But it never worked. I read that the user selection is done by region. It's either East or West. So my friends on the East coast / Midwest could never sync up with me on OTP. We tried like 100x too !!! LOL

I played a few also. I had the boys in mind while playing. I felt like I was cheating on the Dragons

. EASHL with this game would be awesome. Goddamnit now I'm pissed again.

I've been a bit busier than usual and have been spending some NHL 15 time (last-gen) grinding out boosts, since I'm loathe to spend another dime on it. But I'm definitely down for trying to restore some Friday night clubs... Maybe this week?

I am also not buying any boost slots this year and have 4 of them opened so far by playing the Live the Life mode so I would be up for some Friday night clubs if we can get some going again. I have a sniper left winger in Live the Life mode that I started immediately in the NHL with the Penguins and have only scored 5 goals in half a season but I've been sent to minors now twice so I just started a two-way forward right winger and went through the entry draft and was interviewed by Buffalo, Edmonton and Florida with Florida being the team I least wanted to go to so I gave "dick" answers in the interviews for them and of course they drafted me anyway with the number one pick.

After playing several games last night, the next gen version game is great. Had some really fantastic games....puck felt great and alive. Game might not have much to it but what's there is fun and it looks phenomenal!

You're lucky you got the game when they fixed it and went back to play like the release version. You would've hated the game before the last fix patch.

I did the same and ended up getting passed over and drafted by Chicago (lol)

Playing it on easy settings as a member of the Hawks makes for a ho-hum experience, but has unlocked a bunch of slots/boosts.

Go ahead make my day. Thinking is a start. When I play OTP in the current generation, I have a blast. No pressure, I am really enjoying my two modes so far.

Next question is: Are Naples and Jimmy thinking about it?

Jimmy loves his XB1 alot! and Naples is a racer.

I do love the idea of getting the band back together..

Heres my stance on it. f*** plugging my 360 in every weekend just for this shower of shite.

But truth is my 360 now resides at long beach state with the lad, dont even have it.

Sorry i do miss the get togethers but there are other games , golf, Forza, we could still hang oot.

I am absolutely loving the next gen version gameplay with the latest tuner, 10 minute periods, All-Star Hardcore, and penalties max. Of course, the next update/tuner will probably mess everything up.

Offense is just about perfect, although it is still a little too easy to bring it out of your own end. I score in just about every way possible...some dirty goals, shots from the point, wristers, odd man rushes, occasional breakaway, etc. Now that I've improved on defense and learned not to chase the puck all the time the computer is scoring in different ways as well. It's a ton of fun.
