Here is the big news - from OS :

Adding "JUMBO PREMIUM PLAYER PACK" to the store that contains 26 "rare" players for 125,000 pucks. ($100??????)

F'n Halarious. Biggest thing is pimping more money from users for this POS game.

These guys just don't get it. News of an announcement gets their loyal fans excited about a possible feature update and then they drop this...a $17.99 HUT pack. Fn unreal.

Yeah, I just finished playing a couple of HUT games and haven't seen anything special other than the players packages.

Agreed. Calling this the biggest day in NHL series history isn't just stupid, it's insulting. What planet are these devs living on? This series is in serious trouble if these clowns are calling the shots.

I believe this was expected. Back when they announced the timeline of post-patch releases they said playing with friends in OTP wouldn't be in the first OTP patch. I'll check to see if I was imagining things...

From the HUT perspective which is the only mode I play, the menus flow a bit smoother and quicker while in the marketplace the transactions have finally been improved. Whether you're bidding for a player or selling, the price brackets are much more responsive.

I had been so ticked off with this game after all the updates - it played great right at release too. I hadn't played it in quite some time.

Since this latest patch and the latest roster update/last tuner, I just had THE BEST GAME I've ever had with current gen NHL 15. Thanks to an OS member and me laying off the left trigger, no more spin-o-rama either.

Played Vancouver at home and it was such a fun, messy game of hockey. I tied the game at 3 with 50 seconds left as it went off a Canucks player's stick and past Miller. We lost in OT, but shots were 37-34 Vancouver, hits were 18-17 Vancouver and there were 7 total penalties, 4 PP's for Vancouver and 3 for us. It was just a fun experience, loose pucks everywhere (I have no idea if going from authentic size puck back to normal does anything, but it seemed to me like the puck physics were different, could just be in my head).

Passing was Vancouver 77% and us 67%. It really felt like hockey again though.. so thanks to EA for the latest updates. I hope they don't go back to the previous tuners/patch settings.

I think it's safe to start a BeaGM season again and my copy of last gen hockey is going to suffer as long as the game stays like it is now.

Well done EA!

I still think online sucks in this game. They'll never fix that. Will try OTP tonight. I'd still hold off. I'm sure on BF it'll be $20.

I had a pretty good game versus San Jose, too. They tied it up 3-3 with just under a minute left. I had a power play, but they pulled the goalie and scored. But that still left me on the power play to finish the game, and Statsny got loose and buried the game winner with 15 seconds left.

But it was exactly as MizzouRah said, that perfect feeling of sloppy play. The one weird aberration was 21 2nd period shots by San Jose in the second period. I had a few PK's, but it was nuts. I heard them to 9 and hate shots in the 1st and second. The Blues had 26 shots.

Ok so I i did the digital download and the game installed and then it tells me that it also downloaded the update file and installed it as well. When i go into the game, all I can play is Rangers and Kings and everything else is grayed out. There is an installer that says it's at 5% but it's been like that for an hour. Anybody have any ideas?

Each successive patch will add two more teams.

The only thing I could suggest is try stopping then resuming the download. If that doesn't work you will probably have to delete and download again.

It's up to 6% now....I have no clue what's going on. It tells me the game is already installed in the download section but on the main screen in the game it says "Game installation 6%" in the upper right hand corner. Well I guess I won't be playing until tomorrow night at this rate.

Looks like after it installed the original 23gb it then pulls a 20gb file from the server. I downloaded the original 23gb in 20minutes and for some reason this file from the server is moving along at 1994 AOL dial up speeds.

Happy to say had some good online games. No more zero or one goal for each team. Both of us had some good goal variety and the scores were varied as well. Tried OTP, not sure what to say. it was very unorganized. OTP was never my thing anyway so no big deal. Patch is in the right direction. Offline I still like the released version of the game since I have a choice online to go back to that. Online there is no choice but I can live with this last patch.

Weird thing is I still feel like I want to get rid of this game. Maybe it's just being burned by EA too many times. I have a feeling that they'll manage to eff this patch up too in their next tuner set. It's just what they do.

I'm sure your on PSN right? Combine that with shitty EA Servers and you can party like it's 1994!

Beat the Rangers 3-2 after leading 2-0 Backes takes a 5:00 game misconduct and we fight for our lives. They tie it up late in the 3rd period, but Jaden Schwartz puts home the winner with 3 or so minutes left. The new Blues jerseys look fantastic, they really pop!

Yeah, it's a fantastic game at this point. All Star/Harcore defaults, 10 min, penalties and fighting maxed, CPU and AI teammate penalties maxed, authentic post whistle rules, I have my AI strategy adjustment +3 like the CPU as they fixed the issue where the strategy box stays up.

On dynamic medium camera and I have the puck on normal size now and the puck physics even seem better, especially when the ice degrades and you can see the ice shavings slowing the puck down. Now they need to add some stat displays so it really pulls you into BeaGM.
