The delay is an inherent part of the game's current design. Because HBS didn't want to require TGC buyers to have to be XBL or PSN members to play the game online, they had to let their servers handle the networking between players. The data from your shot is sent to HBS servers, where it is converted to a file, stored on their servers as a 'file'. The file is then sent to the other player(s) console as a file where it is then translated and executed as a shot. This is where most of the remaining delay comes in, and won't be alleviated until HBS released an update that will use the premium XBL and PSN services in real time. I'm guessing that will come in the early Spring, based on what I'm reading now.

Oh, check and see if I'm not on your Friend's list now. My XBL tag is the same as it is here, except there's not an underscore between the J and the C, there's a "space" there.

Absolutely LOVING the XBox One version. While it is not as sharp graphically as the PS4 version, it works for me and I am fine with it as it is. I DO hope they can improve the resolution, especially the golf ball. Also having loads of issues with the Stats. I have played 25 or so rounds since last Saturday (a week ago). However, my stats this AM only show 7 rounds and my birdie, eagle par couts are all well below what I have recorded previously. It seems that every time I conduct a hard reset of the XBox One (usually after installing a new game or App), my stats go down and rounds played are fewer than actual. I have PM'd Lorin and Anthony Kyne on this issue and will report back any finding they may have.

TGC is now going to get some serious competition for my time. I just received my new Nike Vapor Pro Combo irons and hit my first bucket oif balls yesterday and they are SWEET!

These are the first Nike irons that have both Tiger and Rory's design feedback on.

Those irons are sharp looking. Awesome. I love my Ping i25's but if I was in the market they would be at the top of my list. On a similar note, I switched to Bridgestone balls this year and love those SOBs. Superb ball.

Do the Bridgestone balls actually fly straighter as advertised? Thinking about trying them out as I appear to be heading to Aberdeen week after next and might be getting a chance to play St. Andrews while I'm there....

I don't know about flying straighter...I don't know how anyone can back up that claim :) but they are durable, soft as hell on the putter stroke and have superb spin. I tried the 330S's (a sleeve of them) and they gave too much action with my wedges/9i from 150 in. The Tour 330’s are awesome. Solid distance, great hold on the greens...top notch ball.

Well, had a great first round 58, but blew the second with just a -6. Finished at -20 with Diablo. The wind was at 10 or so and I hit the rough too much. Nice rounds everybody.

You boys want me to setup a 4-5 event(4 rounds a piece) tour? Give everyone 30 days to complete? If so what courses you guys want?

A 58 is killing it! I saw on The Golf Club's website that someone had posted a 52 at Flathead County GC!? He had 17 birdies and a double eagle.

As for new courses for future events, I'd recommend The Heathlands GC and The Oaks at Westchester.

Let me know what tour you setup so I can do the same on the PS4.

DSP Tour 1 is setup and ready to start play. 5 events at 4 rounds per course = 20 rounds total. You have 30 days to complete. I tried to mix in different course difficulty ratings. Details below for the PS4 crew. Hit'em straight!

DSP Tour 1
1. THE HEATHLANDS GC
2. Pinehurst #2 (2014 U.S. Open)
3. The Oaks at Westchester
4. TPC @ Sahalee
5. Cnocmor Wood GC

Outstanding lineup of courses! You just about can't go wrong with any course created by Wendy Airey, that gal knows her craft. I named Heathland because it was freshest in my memory, but I also played The Bavaro CC last night and it's as good as Heathland, IMO. I played Cnocmor late last night and was amazed that this was the designer's first course!? 8O It's truly a spectacle and a lot of fun as a golf challenge. Thanks for setting it up Truth... BTW, I saw you had 'played through' my grouping last night :) I got called away and when I came back online I saw you were on the 13 hole. I had gotten "honey-do-ed" on the 5 or 6th tee

Threw up a 68 in my first round at The Heatherlands. Nice course! Pinehurst as the 2nd course is a great choice. I can't wait to attack it! :).

No problem. Pretty easy to setup. I saw that Cnocmor Wood was rated well over at pocketscout so I threw it in the rotation.

I'll have to get some practice rounds in tonight if anyone wants to join in. I haven't played 3 of these courses yet.

Remember one thing as you play your rounds at The Heathlands... #10 is where good rounds go to die :? Also, you can be humbled on hole #12 (at least I think it is)... I five putted the green from 16 feet for a triple bogey. Diablo was at least three putting it while I was doing my thing in round 2. Thing is... the pin placement and green slope aren't all that severe. It's just one of the most deceptive breaks I've encountered in the game. I'm going to own that hole the next two times I play it

Yep. That back 9 can kick your ass. I just shot -1 on the final round. Rs 2 killed me (78). Fun though. Looking forward to Pinehurst!

Despite your warnings, I felt into the pond like a sucker. Thing is, if you're short you fall into the water and if you club up, you end up in the beach. Add the deceptive curves as you mention and you have a challenging hole there. I shot a 78 at Heathlands as I was practicing before the PS4 tourney is ready since I never played it before.

But the hole that really got me though as I was hitting along Merace was #13. If you don't think good golf management it's going to end up costing you strokes as my game felt apart from this hole on.

You think you can reach the second fairway in one before the creek, but as I found out, you either end up in the woods or the water. Better play it safe into the first fairway and then attack the course from there. Either #13 or #14.

I thought the greens were more slippery on the last nine but overall a good challenging course.

Yeh that dog leg that goes back on its self is a b*tch. from a side hill lie and a cross wind my shot went straight left despite 15 yds of compensation bounced into the water. 7. tough to get those shots back with the remaining holes. very tough greens.

Played a practice round with Hogz earlier was very cool despite the shots not being real time.

This game is superb, just pure golf.

My only real complaint about the game is the greens not holding. If I hit a 7 iron into a green from the fairway and hit the green - the ball should hold...period. I hate when the ball releases and rolls to the back of the green. I could understand if I was hitting out of the rough or even the first cut but off the fairway? If they fix that then we are talking.
