I pre-ordered at Best Buy but I'm no confident I will get one. Every other site including the MS Store was sold out and BB is notorious for taking more orders than they can handle. Guess we will see.

According to my MS Store, it's the Project Scorpio that maybe sold out for preorders, regular preorders will still take place the following days for the regular version. Take it for what it's worth.

By the way, saw the new Minecraft version of the Xbox S and it looks pretty cool, especially the controller.

I wish I was more excited for this, but that price tag..... Just not enough games that interest me. Will hold on to the S for a while.

Well Best Buy and Target are now sold out which makes me feel a bit better my order is legit.

I'll likely dump one of my launch XB1 and my regular PS4 to recoup some of the cost. Going to be a great machine with a lot of power for future games

I believe 10s is correct - there is a "standard" version that is yet to be put out there for preorder. I think Best Buy actually had a page for them. It said "Currently Unavailable".

I just updated The Golf Club 2 (4 gb update) and now NONE of my games will launch. If I try and start a game it goes to the game's launch screen for like 5-10 seconds and then gets kicked back to the home screen. Anyone ever have that?

Went through just as you described Wilk5230! I just need to ship the base controller to them. The rep said it would take maybe 2-3 weeks. Good lookin' out Wilk5230!

Took them less than a week to get a new one to me.

It's already been shipped! It'll be here Friday
