Re: NFL Season 2012-2013
Bears are going to find a way to lose this game. 3 turnovers into 13 points. Marshall doesn't look like he is in the game and a cheap TD at the end of the half. Time to face the inevitable.

Houston Texans = most overrated Team in the NFL. One and done in the playoffs after getting their ASSES kicked by Indianapolis. f*** the Texans and fire Gary Kubiak please...

Re: NFL Season 2012-2013
I'll also nod in the same agreement toward Atlanta. Houston is going to blow the No. 1 seed. Otherwise, the Texans and Falcons would be the most dubious No. 1 conference seeds in a long, long time. But very well could be one and done in the playoffs.MizzouRah wrote:I'm starting to nod my head in agreement about this team.DivotMaker wrote:Houston Texans = most overrated Team in the NFL. But at least they're in the playoffs. For Bills' fans like me, it's the end of another year of misery. Thirteen consecutive seasons without playoffs. Gailey's record: 16-32 in three seasons. He must be fired. Buddy Nix's draft picks are a joke. He must be fired. Ryan Fitzpatrick is an NFL backup QB at best. He must be released.
Clean this filthy house NOW, Ralph Wilson.

Re: NFL Season 2012-2013
The worst part about today is a majority of Bears fans will complain about the Packers. We were 7-1 and Ponder just lit up the soft GB secondary. Are team turns 4 turn overs in 16 points. Smith better be fired tomorrow.

Re: NFL Season 2012-2013
Sam why?
So close yet so far.
I do see a future for the Rams. Young, fast, NO quit, balls out play, on the move and with draft pics to come.
I like what I sees in the crystal ball.

Oh and Peterson is awesome.
MVP all day.
Dickerson is not safe while his knee stays well.

Re: NFL Season 2012-2013
Great season for the Rams, definitely beyond my expectations. Would love to move up in the draft and get Manti Te'o. Then we could move Laurinaitis to the outside and have Dunbar on the opposite side. We also need an Ed Reed type safety.
On offense, we need a top WR and I really want us to resign Jackson as he's still a horse.
I think Seattle is going to be a one and done playoff team, but they had a great season. We played really well against our divisional opponents this season.

He has given his all through all the s***. I WANT HIM here giving all he has left next year when he leads the Rams all the way.

Jackson a great Ram. Would spit on the guppy p***y ass for the betrayal.

Where were the texans 2 years ago?DivotMaker wrote:I would be thrilled to send Matt Schaub and Gary Kubiak your way, PK.....
They made themselves one of the top teams but not the top team.
For that you want to dump the coach of a 12-win team and the starting QB?
Pretty high expectations for the newest franchise in the league.

And I think that you thought that your team was going to beat SEA today too.MizzouRah wrote:I think Seattle is going to be a one and done playoff team, but they had a great season. We played really well against our divisional opponents this season.

Russell Wilson for rook of the year. Why not? Twenty six TD's in his first year where he had to fight for a job unlike the given ones to the other fine QB's in Luck and RG3.
He's clearly one of the main reasons for this outstanding year and hey, I remember a couple of years back when the eventual SB champs NO gave no chance to the Hawks in their playoff game and I know personally how well that game ended for Brees and Co.
And this team is way more dangerous than the one that scored that stunner. From the entertainment point of view I'd like to see the Seahawks-Redskins match up, RG3 vs R.Wilson two outstanding rookies going at each other although Dallas may have something to say to that.

Re: NFL Season 2012-2013
I can't believe it. NFC East Champs for the first time since '99! That's a long time to wait between home playoff games. I can't wait until next week!
Re: NFL Season 2012-2013
Congrats, Zep! Totally thought of you when they were playing "Hail..." after the last Morris TD. That was a pretty sweet game.Zeppo wrote:I can't believe it. NFC East Champs for the first time since '99! That's a long time to wait between home playoff games. I can't wait until next week!
As for the Bears, I think Lovie is definitely done. Hard to fire a guy after a 10-6 season, particularly when he is so universally well-liked by those he works with and his players. It was such a typical Lovie years. A truly surprisingly great season from an aging defense, something for which Lovie and Marinelli deserve enormous credit, offset by a terrible blunder letting Tice assume the OC role.
In any event, he's obviously a very good coach who's inability to put together an offense over his career here was ultimately fatal. It's time for a change. Leaks this week indicated that Emery already had his mind made up to bring in his own guy regardless of a playoff appearance this season.
Word tonight is that the McCaskey family wants to try to get the old lady one more Super Bowl. If so, her impending demise would be the single biggest contribution to the franchise ever made by a post-Papa Bear Halas/McCaskey.

Re: NFL Season 2012-2013
Lovie will get another job in a minute of that I have no doubt. The reason I want him gone is right in your post. "aging defense" whether Bears fans want to admit it or not its time to rebuild not band aid. Patch working this team has whats led to year after year of disappointments and mediocre draft picks. This thing needs to be built from the ground up for the way football is played in 20113 and beyond not like it was 25 years ago.RobVarak wrote: As for the Bears, I think Lovie is definitely done. Urlacher's gone if Lovie goes. If Devin Hester or Kelvin Davis sees the field again on this team I'll have serious doubts about our new GM. I would draft a QB too. Cutler is the best QB in a Bears uniform in a long time and a tough son of a b*tch, but he won't be around when the Bears win their next Superbowl IMO, hell I might not be. Blow the whole thing up and get a new identity. I don't want to be the monsters of the mdiway, I want to be a team that has a f***in offense that can compete in this era.
Having said all that I will bet money that Lovie is back. This is the Bears after all.
Top things I won't miss hearing when Lovie is gone.

It's just one game.
You have to give credit to XXXX team, they played really well today.
"The Bears are forced to use a time out because they were unable to get the play in from the sideline"
Bears are stopped on 3rd and short
Bears unable to get it in after starting 1st and goal inside the 10
Robbie Gould connects for another field goal off the turn over.
Gabe Carimi.... (Just never want to hear his name period)

Mobile QB's have a shelf life in the NFL.. I cringe when I see those types take off and run. Wilson had a superb season though, wow!
