... and on cue my internet connection went out while playing the daily tourney at Sawgrass. Not that it matters much, I had missed 2 of the first 4 fairways and couldn't putt. I was already at plus 4 staring down another bogey+ when it dropped. Still bummed however. :(

I found the answer to the question in my previous post: We're all playing at the same skill level with the same rules.

Dan, compliments on the tourney setup. Expert swing, no meters, no caddy, no spin, no putt preview, no boost pins but keeping the putting grid -- PERFECT. Keep this setup! :)

I'm using my CAG at the level he's reached. I think I'm like 84/47/49/64. I was able to apply 75,000 XP from my Tiger Woods 12 CAG to the one I created in this game. I actually had over 200,000 XP, but I think it cuts you off at 75,000. Still, that helped a lot with getting me going in TW 13, especially with my 72 hour work weeks I've been having to do.
There should be some sort of formula that factors in skill level in these tourneys if people can play at their desired skill level. Guys playing at the tougher skill levels should have some extra sweetener.
This will ultimately even out a bit, but right now there can be a lot of imbalance.
Just shot 77 (+5) on Tournament level at Sawgrass in today's tournament with my CAG, who has zero added attributes. I missed my manual caddy! :)
The +1 I shot at Bethpage in yesterday's club Daily was one of the most satisfying rounds of video game golf I've ever played. I'm about to take on the Sawgrass daily myself. A 77 with a fledgling CAG under these conditions should be seen as an accomplishment!

Oh, I got the first double eagle for the DSP Country Club. I holed out a 2 hybrid from 200+ yards out!
However I also lead the club in double bogeys!
Dayum! I haven't had one since Tiger 10... that's awesome stuff man!

Last I saw, we were ranked 39th among the clubs. I'm having more fun tracking the status of our club versus others, although it really doesn't mean anything I can hang my hat on; it's somehow a bit fascinating :?

Wait. You can actually transfer your XP's from your created Pro in TW 12 to this one? If so how did you do it?

Lots of fun tonight boys. Diablo, I think when we set up the private tourneys for next time, we should definitely go with the simultaneous shots as the game flows much better. And with a full room tonight of golfers, it would make the rounds go much quicker.

Also, either Dan or Truth (good putts tonight man). Can you explain again how you guys set up the matches without strangers hopping in? And in doing so, does the CC get points for it? With 8 guys talking, it was difficult to hear you guys at time.

Agreed 10spro. Simultaneous Strokes is good. Good times in all the matches...until my connection crapped out. Very impressed with the game.

Good fun tonight. Good match JC and Ortho.

Some things I found out.

1. You can't setup a private match from the club lobby. When playing out of the lobby the games must be ranked, thus not private. I'm not sure I get why but anyway wouldn't work. To set up a private match I went to the main menu / Xbox Live / Lobbies and then picked the Amateur lobby. I then hit Y to create a session and set it to unranked, then private and whatever else I wanted. Then I invited dudes just using the guide button and invite to game.

2. I also discovered that if you do the same thing and head to lobbies you can create your own room and make it friends only. Then you can play ranked matched. However I couldn't find a way to invite people to a game this way. I think you need them to join the room.

3. In looking at the club stats we have one bronze level achievement left it was play 5 teammate 2player matches. I have no idea how to set that up, I hope their is a guide somewhere.

I took a 7 on 17 on Sawgrass for the daily. I also switched clubs to better stuff and ended up shooting worse. I got so use to my series 2 and that these things were all over the place.

I won't be home tomorrow night to set up a new daily, hopefully JC can set it up. Don't forget our weekly starts tomorrow.

Oh yeah we need 3 more members to hit 25. We need 25 guys to have a club champion so that guy can play in the upcoming weekly club champion tournaments and get the club more points and coins etc.

So lets get 3 more guys.

It indeed was a lot of fun and a learning experience. My pitching game needs serious work.

I will be working tomorrow night, but I'll have my son launch it. Anyone got any requests?

Wow...+38 in the daily. I don't quite get it yet. Played the demo a lot, hit the practice tee for a good 40min before teeing off and I was controlling distance well there. The daily was my first official round with the game however. The lack of a swing meter had me pretty flustered by the end of the night. Not sure I can play that way but Ill keep trying.

Should I play a few rounds with the meter on in order to get a feel before turning it off???

good matches tonight fella's. Maybe next time we get together we could also try some alternate shot as well as the simultaneous stroke.

Look forward to playing the club daily and weekly!!

Apparently you can un-learn how to play this game. The last two rounds I played yesterday were both ~90. Hit at least 4 drives OB. Couldn't hit a damn thing straight.

Just shot a +36 on the Sawgrass daily. I'm using my created golfer and the Kinect. I started out OK, but then it all went downhill. I'm still trying to get a handle on using the Kinect, especially for the short game.

I understand that to set up to draw/fade the ball I need to adjust the right stick prior to the swing.

Now, when I swing, is it still straight back and through or do I need to go from 5 o'clock to 11o'clock? I notice that the black cross hair is angled a bit after striking the ball in draw/fade.

You guys playing with the controller...when pitching/chipping, I either have a very fast swing and clobber the ball or grossly under swing at a snails pace. Am I the only one who does this>

Just adjust your stance before you hit your next shot by adjusting the RS and hit it straight from there. The clock swinging motion was for the previous TW's. While pitching, don't take a big swing, it's all on feel depending on your yardage and brush the RS instead.

Very fun matches last night guys, JCauthen was great putting.

In the Sawgrass daily tournament, I had a semi-respectable +6 up until I 6 putted the 9th hole and then it was all downhill from there, 6 putted a couple more holes and hit 3 shots in the water on the 17th Island green.

Just want to post this point again. I search the Tiger Woods forums and site last night for info on club achievements and found nothing. To move our club up a level we need to do the below I am just not sure what it is exactly.
In looking at the club stats we have one bronze level achievement left it was play 5 teammate 2player matches. I have no idea how to set that up, I hope their is a guide somewhere.

JC was on fire!!! Way to go pard! I think he was 6 under or more on his own ball.
