It looks like you guys will have to download the tools for this file. It's a Youtube video that shows set by set how to do it. I'll have to download the tools again and extract the file so I can send it to you. It's only 4MB.
Re: Backbreaker Preview - Natural Motion based football titl
Here's the Youtube Tutorial:
Re: Backbreaker Preview - Natural Motion based football titl
If you guys don't want to mess with putting it all together I can mail you the USB drive then just copy the file over.
Re: Backbreaker Preview - Natural Motion based football titl
Interesting i'm seeing false starts by both me and the CPU after using NFL Roster V14.

My 360 won't even recognize a USB drive.. Do I need some other device connected to my USB? I'm using the USB ports on the front of the console.
Any thoughts....

The most recent FW update from MS allows for USB drives. Are you sure you're not looking in the wrong place? If you go to My XBOX -> Memory-> Drive Lists..you should see your USB there also you'll need to format it before you can use it. If it fails to format it means it's not fast enough to play games off of it so you can't use it. I had some USB drives that weren't accepted but I found one out of the bunch.
Let me know how it goes.

that's exactly what i'm doing and it doesn't see anything but the HD. I tried multiple USB's. What is the current FW version?
Actually.. I can't find anything in regards to what FW version I have. Is there no "check for latest update" option?
Got it! 3 USB drives later....
Cool.

rodster...
I've gone through the process via the video twice and the only teams that i'm seeing when I go back into the game is my created team. I'm not seeing the NFL teams at all. The file size that I ended up with was 4mb. Does that jive with your file?
any thoughts on what I may have done wrong?

It sounds like you did not copy over the NFL teams over to the USB stick. Did you download the NFL Roster from the same place you got the Resigning tools? Did you copy over your Profile and Device ID's and temporarily store them in the XBOX ID notepad file? Afterwards you have to change them back and save them.FifaInspected wrote:rodster...

All set! I messed up something in the process. if it wasn't for my mistake this should have been a 10 minute process.
Having the NFL in this game simply adds another reason to enjoy it.

Glad you got it working FIFA !
It's pretty easy once you get past the first try. It also took me about 10 minutes the first time and about 3 minutes the second time around.

Re: Backbreaker Preview - Natural Motion based football titl
I really wish I had a 360 for this game so I could take advantage of the editor. On the PS3 this game still has a bit of Jekyl & Hyde in it after the patch.
I really enjoy the passing game now that I'm throwing a pick or getting sacked half of the time. I can live with the drops, since the passing now seems to be a little too accurate. The drops help balance that out, and at least most of the drops are due to getting hit.
The running game is where things still need work to become enjoyable. The players are too clogged together, making inside running a real pain. The OL still allows too many jailbreaks by the DL, causing negative yards too many times. I also never feel like I can break one...and the CU never breaks any really long runs either.
Playing defense was always fun, but even more fun after the patch. On hard it seems like the CPU at least puts up a decent fight now. They still call some questionable plays, especially on 3rd and long, but they are putting up some points on me, and I have lost games.
I do like the game much more after the patch, and the last 2 nights of games have been fun. Still, there are a few moments every game that make me to want to turn it off.

Matt, you may already know this but if not, they made it so you're supposed to hit the right trigger and pull down the right stick as you're catching the ball post-patch, or else you'll see more drops than normal. I mention it just in case you hadn't heard.

Yeah, I heard that. I don't see too many of them, and I kinda like to see them. Otherwise I'd be completing 75% of my passes. The problem with workarounds like this and those I read for running is that they don't help the CPU.

With passing, the CPU doesn't have any problems completing passes as long as they have a good QB and good receiver corp.matthewk wrote:Yeah, I heard that. Now running is a totally different issue.
Re: Backbreaker Preview - Natural Motion based football titl
When you download the NFL teams are you able to play seasons with them? Is there a schedule included? How do the season stats look at the end of the year?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Running may be a "bit" difficult in this game.. But Damn! It's a thing of beauty once you get past the line. Incredible fun.

It sure is -- when you get around the corner on a stretch run, or find a hole up the middle -- it's just a great feeling that I never experienced in a football videogame before. Great stuff.FifaInspected wrote: But Damn! It's a thing of beauty once you get past the line. Incredible fun.

It's Rodster360 but right now i'm having some serious DSL issues so we wouldn't be able to play. I need to call Verizon because I can't figure out if it's the phone line or router causing my problems.FifaInspected wrote:Rodster - what is your GT?

Looks like I'm going to finish the month of August with a record of 49-4 online, which was good for #6 on the PS3 leaderboards. I like that they wipe the leaderboards and start over every month, which gives everyone a fresh start.
Had a great game against someone who used the Dallas Cowboys this weekend. He got out to an early lead, we see-sawed back and forth most of the game, and then my defense shut him down at the end to preserve a 28-21 win. Always love beating the Cowboys.

Re: Backbreaker Preview - Natural Motion based football titl
The only thing that might steer Madden to seriously upgrade their games code is if BB2 offers a game based on NFL rules without calling it that and includes a powerful editor where you can design stadiums, teams and logos and a full player editor that includes a uniform editor as well. IOW a generic game that can look just like a licensed NFL game.
If they can pull that off then I could see EA responding but only if BB2 sells like hotcakes. Also if BB had started out at $19.99 I believe the game would had gotten a lot more looks.

What makes you think there will be a BB2?
