Upon further review, I doubt I'm spending $30 on RS6: Siege.
It's fun. It's far more tactical than BF or CoD. But it's pretty repetitive and limited in its modes. The Attacker-Defender online matches are pretty limited. On attack, coordinate to try to get two bombs. On defense, sit and wait or try to flank. Fun for the first few times but then limiting.
Terrorist Hunt is co-op. Lone Wolf is just an extension of the single-player Missions, which are repetitive and lack quality AI. The opponents set up in pretty much the same spots. And it's ridiculous that I can blast through a door in a hostage mission, enter the room and still find the AI staring at another door. Come on.
I really dig the slower, tactical approach. The deformable structures also help me to overlook dated, lackluster graphics.
But nearly every mode has a rinse-wash-repeat feel to it. There's just not enough content or variety in any mode and quality offline AI here to justify even a discounted, $30 purchase, especially with so many Grade A titles coming this fall in many genres.

Very interesting, cool read about an 18 year old whose company was just acquired by Microsoft. When I was 18 I didn't know my ass from a hole in the ground
I saw project cars is around $20. I have heard it's designed for a wheel, and is somewhere between bad and awful with a controller. Does anyone have it for ps4? There's another game coming soon called asseto something or other, but the $20 price point intrigued me.
Traded my "Day One" Xbox One for a like sized Halo bundle Xbox One S this morning. With the Gamestop 150 credit, figured it would better complement my 4k TV and swap out the controller for the improved S controller. Hopefully as a side benefit the wifi connection to the controller is improved as I always had random disconnects with the original console and controller.

Is there a Kinect connector on the S console? I use it occasionally, so don't want to drop that option if I trade in the Day One XB1...just want to give em the console and keep the kinect. That possible?

You need a usb adapter, free if you are upgrading from orginal Xbox One to the S:
For users upgrading from original Xbox One to Xbox One S
For a limited time, the Kinect Adapter will be available for free to customers who have an existing Xbox One console, an Xbox One Kinect Sensor, and an Xbox One S console. You will need the serial number for all three devices to get the free Xbox Kinect Adapter. To request your free Kinect Adapter, contact Xbox Support.
To save time, we recommend that you make sure your Xbox One S console, original Xbox One console, and Xbox One Kinect Sensor are registered to your Microsoft account. Go to Device Support to register your devices.
I got my free adapter from Microsoft. I went to support and chatted with a rep. Just make sure your console and Kinect are registered online. I got it in about a week.
Awesome thanks guys. So register current Xbox One and Kinect, then go trade in original Xbox One and get the S, then register it, then request the adapter. Got it, lol. Silly but saves some cash.
One other question...what did you have to do when you traded the XB1 in at gamestop? I remember i traded in a 360 back in the day and they had to sign into it and make sure it played games before I could even trade it in, it took a good hour of my time in the store. Should I just leave my account tied to it, bring it in, show em it works, then format it in store? Seems like that would be faster.

The only console I ever traded in was at Best Buy and they just plugged it in and pressed the power button. If I the Xbox light came on it was good. I sold my Day 1 Xbox One on EBAY.

Just bring it in, let them put a disc game in to see if it runs the game, then they will do all of the reformatting there in the store. DL your Xbox One account on the new machine and then any games you had on it previously.

Bummer. Would have been groovy for those looking for the new toy.
Not me: I spent too much on that Belgian beer the other night!
Yeah I literally just got home w/ my 1TB S...gonna give my bro my old on I think...so would have been nice to see that earlier. Oh well. Guess I'm going to have to live without the Chimay for a few weeks.
Sometimes, I really hate browsing thru this site. I do. I am now tempted and you know what's next. The 4K TV that I always told myself, next year, next year...Because other than the smaller size, there's no point really, correct? And here I told myself to wait for the Scorpion.
