On both that goal and on Kane's.

Both the game-tying and game-winning goals were scored on blasts from the point by defensemen. That warmed the chilly heart of this former rec league D-man. :)

I was so messed up by that game that I penned a 4 paragraph post between the 3rd period and OT and apparently didn't post it.

Great game for the neutral, but it took years off my life.

Hot and incredibly humid here today. Going to be some real $hit ice for tonight's game.

You can tell that he's playing with that cocky attitude of years past. The Chara-Seidenberg is -5 so far in the last two games and look a tad slow.

Bergeron is not getting as many minutes as he's used to, he might be hurt.

You and I could have scored those two goals. Puck bounces on his stick twice right in front of the net. Regardless, the Hawks look terrific tonight and Boston looks even slower than they have in the previous 4 games. Bergeron is definitely dinged and this team is toast without him. All I can hope for is the Bruins can get game 6 at home and do what they did in Vancouver's building two years ago in a game 7. This one's over.

Maybe you could have but I would have fallen down.

When Kane scores the Hawks cannot lose.

I think overall the Hawks were a better team tonight, but boy did Frolik get away with one.

Great game by Crawford too, who many own CHI fans didn't have any faith in him whatsoever.

Good game. Boston dominated that 3rd and that goal by Chara I gave them the momentum to tie this. If Kane/Toews are on, it'll be hard to beat the hawks. Its still going 7.

What are the NHL rules in regards to an official concussion?

Another good game. Not quite sure how Boston ended up without a single man advantage situation tonight, particularly on the high stick to Lucic' face and obviously the trip on Krug just before the open netter, but Chicago on the verge. I don't think we see Bergeron for the rest of the series and if that's the case, not sure Boston has enough.

The high stick is the kind of thing that gets missed or overlooked all the time. The trip was ridiculous. Absolutely should have been a penalty.

Somebody please explain the current NHL hit to the head rules to me, though. How is this not a penalty?

I'm not trolling here or trying to be a homer, btw. I'm happy to be told I'm wrong, but that looks like a shot to the head to me.

Are the refs there to do anything besides dropping the puck?

Lots of headshots from both teams and that trip on Krug on the empty netter was uncalled and led to a goal. It should have been called and the bruins would have had an offensive zone faceoff and a chance to tie it up.

3rd period felt like Boston was on a PP the entire time. Very nerve-racking. I see a pattern here of each teams supporters feeling like they are not getting the appropriate calls. I think it's fair to say the Refs are not favoring one team over another. That hit to Toews was bullsh*t though.

It seemed apparent to me after the first 5 minutes of the game, a couple of hooks and interference and a blown icing its like the refs were late on to the ice and they started playing without them.

I don't think they're favoring either team. I just think they're poor. There's a big difference between missing a trip or a hook and not calling obvious shots to the head by either team, though.

League review said this a.m. that the hit was kosher.
