That's almost universally true of sports a-holes. The only exception of which I can think is A.J. Pierzynski. This parade is absolutely out of control. Looks like 5x the number of people who were down there for the Sox celebration. This is so damn cool.

Whats really amazing is how the Hawk fan base grew from 20,000 people to 2,000,000-3,000,000 in 2 years.
Not that Im against it. I think its awesome especially since Im a member of that band wagon and I even know what Icing is.
