Yes unfortunately... :( I was even gifted a goal to tie it up 3-3 but when you let Kane sit in front of the net, bad things will happen!

We are going to be MUCH younger next season, with some AHL players getting a chance to play. Lots of decisions to make as many players have contracts expiring.

We go down 1-0 on a goal that was reviewed, but counted. Score two goals in the 2nd to lead 2-1. In the third we give Chicago the PP with 1:48 left and Towes scores to tie the game. That goal took the life out of me. With less than a minute left in the period, Tarasenko scores on a deflection from Shattenkirk and I nearly jumped through the roof!!!

Chicago still had a few more chances with the goalie pulled, but Elliott was up to the task.

Game 6 back to Chicago we go!

Never has a game had me this stressed out before! 8O

Also.. try a playoff game with surround sound turned up fairly loud. The crowd chants and sounds of the game are incredible... during the playoffs only, I never skip over any of the between whistle stuff, really gives it that TV presentation. :)

No player ability leveling. We are all equally crappy.

We play ever friday and saturday night. All that is in question is if we really should or not.

Usually near 10 central.

Yes headset is prefered though we had one player who has a wife that wont allow it. :P

We share the comedy now between Jimmy's hatred of Canada, 10's daughter's critique of team, My lack of coherent play and Vader at DJ...yes we have a DJ.

Yes we laugh a lot!

In all seriousness even though it can get frustrating at times when things go wrong, it is very addictive great fun. By far most fun I have ever had gaming.

Highly recommended. Both nights are rated restricted, you wouldn't want a few F bombs drop accidentally via the Kinect.

We'll see if I can stay awake long enough tonight. I'm sick again for the 100th time and my voice is hoarse as hell. I may not be able to fend off Jimmy's hurtful barbs. But that's OK, then I just remember it's Jimmy........

In all semi seriousness, the win loss record when I play is atrocious, but the laugh-or not ratio is astoundingly excellent!

I need my kid to grow up so I can go back to sleeping in.......

We lose to Chicago, 3-2.. we thought we tied the game, 3-3 late in the 3rd period, but they called it a "no goal" due to goalie interference. Oh well.. it was a great game.. anyway, Chicago got knocked out by Colorado, 4 games to 2. They lost to Calgary and the Flames would face Montreal in the Stanley Cup Final. Montreal would waste no time and beat Calgary, 4 games to 0 to win the 2016 Stanley Cup.

Not a huge off season except I let Backes walk along with Ott and Brodziak. I traded G Elliott, Reaves and a 4th round pick for G Craig Anderson, who is rated 87. We are much younger now and have 8 new players, most from the AHL.

We beat Minnesota, 4-2 in the opener and our youth and speed shine!

Steen - Stastny - Tarasenko

Schwartz - Lehtera - Berglund

Jaskin - Barbashev - Rattie

Paajarvi - Fabbri - Booth (FA from last year)

Pietrangelo - Shattenkirk

Bouwmeester - Streit (trade from Flyers last season)

Edmundson - Lindbohm

(Parayko is rated crappy, he's my AHL #2 right now)

G - Anderson (he went from Ottawa to Nashville and then to us via trade)
G - Allen

We won our first two games, 4-2 vs Wild and 4-2 vs Oilers.. up next is Chicago

I have trading on hard.

Traded D Streit and my 2018 2nd round pick to Vancouver for RW Radim Vrbata and their 2017 4th round pick.

Now Parayko moves up to the NHL to take Streit's place (I'm really young on D now) and Vrbata will go on the 2nd line with Schwartz and Lehtera. Berglund will move to the 3rd line with Jaskin and Barbashev and I'll rotate Fabbri, Booth, Paajarvi and Rattie on the 4th line.

Parayko is up for a contract as a RFA so I want to see what I have in him and Streit is causing morale issues.

We are 4-3 on the young season and need the youngsters to improve as the season goes on.
