Are you suggesting that the result would have been different with their first two? Not surprised about the win, but definitely shocked that they pumped almost 600 yds of offense against a not too shabby defense.
The result, probably not but the game definitely. Arizona had plays to be made and any defense on the field that long is going to start to crumble. It was still a game at halftime correct? Once the defense notices they have to make plays to win the game tackling goes to hell as they try and strip the ball and do more than they need too.
Enjoy the win but to think the game wouldn't of been different if Arizona had a QB that had a pulse is a little far fetched.

Today is hilarious at my office and why I'm ashamed to be associated with Bears fans 90% of the time.
"Cutler put up 17 points on Detroit in a half"
"If not for a botched punt and a roughing the kicker the Bears would of been shut out"
"The WR's dropped about 8 passes a game when Jay was starting as well"
I'm not saying Clausen is the second coming or that I want to even see him on the team next year but it's like the Cutler supporters were praying for a bad performance and when they didn't get that the excuse parade is out in force.

Yeah.. Seattle is firing on all cylinders at the right time, wow they took it to a great defense.

Again, it was still a game at halftime because ARI's D was as good as SEA and Haushka kept missing those three pointers. Back in SEA a couple of weeks back, when the Cards were the best team in the league, Palmer was the QB and Stanton took over the third and all they could manage was a FG combined. Wilson's ability to scramble when ARI was blitzing from all angles was key too while not turning the ball over.
With the secondary healthy again, Hawks looked good, I don't think the result would have been different but not by the margin of offensive yards they had yesterday, especially on the road.
Arizona has never been the best team in the league regardless of their record. Is this what Seattle fans really think? They are a first round exit with their current QB and likely with Palmer. Arizona is a team of the future, one good QB and a solid RB away IMO. If they get creative they can compete possibly next year.
The win probably cements Seattle going to the SB again, the rest of the NFC is garbage, maybe Greenbay can give them a game. So it's back to a one game shot against either New England or Denver.
I really like Wilson, I like several Seattle defensive players. I hate your coach but that has nothing to do with the NFL. They have a good shot at repeating.

One more game and this things is over. It will be interesting if no one is fired.
"Interesting" is one word for it. Another applicable phrase might be "civil disorder." Tucker's gone, for sure. 100% Trestman is almost as certainly gone.
Emery is the interesting one. It would be very un-Bears to launch him as well.

I know people want him gone now, not sure what launching the coach is going to do. Team has more holes than a sinking boat. I hope the next defense coordinator we get in here will run something which puts our guys within 3 yards of a receiver.
If they do get rid of Emery I hope they do it like they did Urlacher, a press release and a tweet.

Raiola suspended a game and Jim Caldwell said he believes him that is was not intentional making all the talk about how he has cleaned up the Lions a bunch of BS.
Oh and just for 34, Fisher blamed the fight on the Giants.

Raiola's stomp was not Intentional?
The Giants started the fight? Hes saying that Ogeltree was forced ride JR out of bounds and then had no choice but to b*tch slap him.
RobVarak wrote:I'd take Fisher as Bears HC in a heartbeat over any of the mentioned candidates.
As would I. Heard rumors about the Bears interested in hiring a President of Football Operations. Possibly Holmgren. I would be all over that. Rob, I know Trestman is Emery's hire but I hope you don't honestly believe Sweaty Teddy had no say. The Bears need a complete enema and it starts with a true football mind in the front office.
I am a patient boy.
I wait, I wait, I wait, I wait.
My time is water down a drain.
Proud of the Texans. Finishing 9-7 with a remote shot at the playoffs after going 2-14 last year is a nice improvement. Also winning last two games with Case Keenum (4th starting QB this year) who had not played all year and lost 8 of Houstons 14 games last year, pretty incredible finish. Nice having a Texans Game matter in Week 17 again...
Bears take out a full page ad in the paper before the game:
We Won’t Make Excuses,” the team wrote. On the next line, the team said: “We Will Thank You For Your Support.”
Who the f*** would want to coach here for this bunch of clowns and this pathetic array of talent? Jefferies has more false starts than any WR I've seen in my life. Last week people were saying Clausen only scored because he was put in good positions by special teams and defense. 1st and goal on the 8 and we gain a yard. If you were trying to trade him there is no way in hell now, unless you want to get fleeced.
If they f***in hire Mike Shanahan I'm done.
