For you PS4 fans, are there any exclusive PS4 games coming out in the next 3-4 months that you would argue for keeping PS4? I don't care about THE SHOW.
The Show is a big one for me. I had been looking forward to The Order, too, but there's no way I would pay full price after what I've read.

Bloodborne would be the biggest exclusive with a real release date, as it's from the publisher of Demon Souls. If (big if) Uncharted 4 comes out this year, that would probably be the biggest game. I'm also intrigued by the horror game Until Dawn, but that is also another that could get bumped back.

Really, the exclusive list for both consoles is pretty crappy right now.
For my gaming preferences, XB1 has had enough worthwhile exclusives. Dead Rising 3 was a big surprise and an absolute blast on co-op. Titanfall was another solid exclusive for me (I don't game on the PC). Sunset Overdrive was my GOTY 2014. And there's the Forza games. And Halo MC Collection just to have the first 4 Halos re-mastered. Looking ahead there's Quantum Break and a new Gears of War game.

The upcoming games I am most looking forward to are non exclusives: The Division, Star Wars Battlefront and RB6 Siege.

The only PS4 exclusives I feel I missed out on so far are inFamous Second Son and The Order. My favorite exclusives on PS3 were the Uncharted Series and Heavy Rain.

I'm the opposite. Besides the Forza series, I'm struggling to find a game that interests me very much on the Xbox 1. I had some fun playing Dead Rising 3 demo, and may end up picking that up eventually. Sunset Overdrive is great, but it makes me nauseous after a short time playing. I'll probably get the Halo MC collection down the road, but I'm not overly hyped for it. I'm pretty much burned out on FPS (Halo being the exception).

I'm still enjoying the heck out of The Last of Us (one of my top five non-sports game ever), and I couldn't imagine not having the opportunity to play a Naughty Dog game now and in the future. There are just some developers that have the ability to put out a product you can tell is professional and more importantly, they have put their heart and sole into. Which leads me to The Show. The devs are just so open to feedback and improving the game.....well, most of the time (commentary is stale to me). We'll be seeing a new Jak and Daxter before too long, hopefully a Hot Shots Golf as well. I love the variety of games Sony puts out, which is why I usually lean towards them.

Both systems are great in their own ways, and they are still in their first year and a half of release. I've thought about selling off my Xbox One at one point (the wife will not allow me to get buy/sell/buy, anymore), but we still have what....4-6 more years of these consoles at least? There's going to be plenty of games on each of these systems I know I'm going to want to partake in. Even if I'm only playing one at one particular time, I know for a fact that can change in a matter of days or weeks.

If you are waiting for Hot Shots, you really ought to give Powerstar Golf a try. It really is an outstanding golf game. The level of strategic play, as well as how much it leans on the same factors as golf sims, it is probably the Super Mega Baseball of Golf games. While they dropped the ball in terms of having head to head play, playing "ghosts" is handled super well, with playing either just the shot arcs, which is quicker, or the full animation of your opponent.

It also really uses your friends list well to make nearly every shot a challenge against your friends. You get points based on beating a friend on a long drive, closest to the pin, and longest putt. And I never, at any point, wanted to spend money on boost packs. The game delivers a ton of XP, and the boosts are actually a small part of the game. If you have a long drive boost, you can use it one to three times in a match, based on the number of holes you are playing. It becomes strategic and fun instead of cheapening the experience.

While i agree with this sentiment, the fact that so many people left that company that were responsible for those games stories, I'll need to see what exactly future products deliver. If they think outside the box like they did with TLoU then I will be excited but frankly the Uncharted games are close to being on that overdone list for me which is why TLoU was so fresh.

I forget about No Mans Sky. That could be the game that brings the PS4 home.

Would like to see a steering wheel controller for the Xbox One like the Jogcon controller that Namco made.

I like the XB1 controller, but it can absolutely be improved. The requirement of an audio adapter was a huge sign they worked up their priorities. And leveraging the Xbox button for more UI control means that it could also stand to be improved. Double clicking on it is okay, but I doubt it would be designed as it is if that was their intent. Plus, a redesign could provide an opportunity to add another button or two for screenshots and streaming, like the PS4 has. This would also be a good opportunity to stick surround sound into the controller, in addition to stereo. They claimed this would be coming, so I wonder if this is how they will pull that off.

They had to do this once before, when the OG Xbox released with The Duke, which was too big for most people. The redesign was damn perfect, and mostly carries through to today. I wonder if this new controller will become the standard moving forward, to will this be exclusively another controller to buy. If it is seriously the preferred controller, they really need to start packing it in the box.

Does anyone have any reservations or have you run into issues with pre-downloading PS4 games? I usually buy physical discs but thinking of doing the preorder of The Show so I can have it day 1 (and since I never trade that game in until way past the ideal trade-in time).

Brando, I think DB or someone else posted some problems with a digital purchase ready day 1. It could've been the Show.

Both the Xbox and PS4 suck for digital downloads...especially the pre-loading BS. Hasn't worked perfectly for me yet (after about 4-5 tries). Not worth the aggravation to me. I'll just wait till it shows up live in the store and buy it/download it then. The last two times I did it that way, I was playing the game before the pre-loaders.

Thanks, gentlemen, I thought this had been discussed but couldn't find it in this colossal thread. I will probably just stick with buying the physical game.

The PSN Store had issues with The Show last year. I had the game preordered/paid for and still had to wait for it to show up to 'Install' a while after midnight. I'll be preordering digital this year again.

With the XB1 I preordered GTA5. It was downloaded and sitting on my HD at midnight but I still had to install it at midnight instead of just firing it up which is what was advertised. A small inconvenience but nothing big. I wouldn't have reservations Brando.

Titanfall's DLC is free right now on Xbox One and Xbox 360
The three downloadable map packs released for Respawn Entertainment's futuristic first-person shooter Titanfall are currently free on Xbox One and Xbox 360.

While there's no official announcement yet about the generous giveaway of Titanfall's DLC from Microsoft, Electronic Arts or Respawn, it seems the free DLC may be related to the game's one-year anniversary. Titanfall was released on March 11, 2014 for Xbox One and Windows PC.

Anyone pick up Ori and the Blind Forest on Xbox One? From everything I've read, it's getting really good reviews. I think I'll buy it once I'm done with Rayman Legends, another outstanding game that was free for Gold members this month.

I played it, the game looks incredible and it's also really solid if you like this type of game. I do not however, but man best looking game I've seen in a while.
