This has been a problem for years in the NBA and seems to be systemic rather than some kind of mass conspiracy. I think that's what most of us are saying.
I agree with you, but when people say "they are trying to extend the series at all cost" and things like that it implies a conspiracy theory.
I also disagree that the NBA has the worst officiating, especially after watching the NFL playoffs this year. Hell, the NFL officials can't even get plays right *after* watching it in super slo motion for 5 minutes.

I guess players throwing punches and getting suspended now constitutes a conspiracy theory.
no but you can grab a guy in the nads and squeeze and only get a fine. Terry was on the bottom when two guys on top of him (that doesn't sound right). He's trying to get up. NO ONE, knew that there was a problem with that scramble after the game.
He punched Finley in the junk...that's a little worse than the reacharound that Evans gave Kaman.
I think you would know that if he had punched Fin in the junk, he would've went down. You don't have to punch nuts. Even a graze.............
We're on the ropes my old friend... I honestly believe deep down that the best team usually wins a 7 game series, and I don't think the Spurs are better. But Cuban has fired up an entire city and Terry laid an egg with his Game 6 sucker punch...
I'm too scared to make a prediction, and that's saying a lot for me. I did correctly predict the Pistons/LeBrons outcome yesterday, and I'm picking the Suns to escape tonight as well...

Holy crap, is the NBA trying to promote Lebron or what?! It was the frickin Lebron pre game followed by Lebron career highlite reel then the Lebron game with Lebron talk/highlites/stats between quarters and finally the Lebron post game show, oh with a heavy dose of Lebron commercials throughout.
He is amazing, best player in the NBA right now IMO, but this was rediculous. After the game all they did was focus on Lebron, instead of the winner of a game 7.
Dallas/San Antonio has been one of the best series in recent NBA memory. Not the best played series, I've ever seen but a lot of emotion in every single contest. I'm conflicted. My brain and my heart say San Antonio but Dallas is better than they've ever been before. This could be one of those changing of the guard series or one where the veteran squad pulls it out again. I just trust Duncan a little more in a game seven than Dirk and figure San Antonio will take the higher percentage shots. Shame it wasn't in the conference finals since either of these teams should roll through the Phoenix/Clippers winner.
The Cavs got much farther than anybody expected and they have to be seriously happy about that. I'm not remotely suprised however that the Pistons won. The Cavs just don't have a team. It's all on Lebron and that just won't work for any player in a seven game series against an elite team. The Cavs need to upgrade at nearly every single position before they become elite.
Suns and Clippers is still a coin-flip to me. I'm rooting for the clippers but I could easily see the Suns pull it out. Very difficult to analyze except factoring in the home court.

Kurt Thomas may be back tonight for a few min. That would definitely help the Suns interior defense. Sure, he's gonna be out of shape and rusty, but you don't need to have the offensive game if you're just in there to try to contain Elton. Hopefully Kurt can give the Suns about 15-20 min. of good defense. But you're right Reeche...it's pretty much a coin-flip. Either team can take it...but I feel the edge has to go to Phoenix with all the rest they were able to get because of the ridiculous schedule. Hopefully it helps Steve's jumpshot.

I hope it only helps him in the first, then he goes back to form (against the clips) and starts missing everything.

No, you didn't. They, as the Mavs typically do, start to choke away the lead. I would be surprised if SA doesn't win after coming back from that deficit...only trailing by 3 with around 5 min. left in the game.

Yea watching it as we speak errr....type, I would like to see the Mavs to take it and see the Clips next round. 96 - 91 so far.
