I played a "friendly" with that Bengals owner a couple weeks ago and it was a doozy. Shame to see him go, but if he's going to be that petulant c'est la vie.

Hopefully there's some cumulative benefit to weeding out the people who aren't showing up for games. I really don't like getting a default win. Plus it screws the stats up.

Or in your case, brings the stats back down to earth ;)

I wish you were on my schedule Rob, it'd be a great matchup and I could show you how to shut that Colts offense down.

I've played all 6 of my games and have only given up 41 points.
Just a under 7 allowed per game, not too shabby. :D

Offense? I'm doing it with D, baby :) I'm only giving up an average of 8ppg...and that is excluding the 0-0 "wins" LOL

Damn good game Sudz...I didn't have that thing won until that HUGE third down play to McMichael that setup my last TD...WOW.

Now we just gotta meet again on the ice in the new League. Maybe this time there won't be fisticuffs.

what was up with "4th 5:08 3-11 at MIA 49. Jay Fiedler (MIA) ran right side for 15 yards (Grant)"?

my jock was left in the 9th row after that one.

my receivers finally started catching some balls.

I'm having trouble logging into the league site (when I go there it seems like I'm already signed in, but it won't take me beyond the login page), so could someone do me a favor and tell me who my next opponent is? I've got the Broncos. Thanks.

Hey Slum, you've got Baltimore. The dudes email address is:

pb4201@hotmail.com

Sudz,

Yeah...I pull that play out once a game...trips left and I run a crossing route with my right receiver so it pretty much opens up the entire field on the right side. I usually can only do it once because either the AI, or the human catches on. So I break it out when there is an important play. The bigger one was still the McMichael 21 yard catch on 3rd and 9, to put it at the 1 yard line to setup the touchdown to cap the huge drive that ate up most of the 4th quarter and put me up 2 scores.

But you're right...you're receivers were catching everything. I was so pissed when that guy caught the 3rd down pass diving and rolling on the ground. I thought I had you.

Still...good game, it was fun.

Slum,

I'll accept my thanks from you now. See, this guy's offense is (was) totally centered around Jamal Lewis (as it should've been). After about the 45th carry, Lewis didn't get up again and won't for another 25 weeks. Have fun against a severely hobbled attack.

The Oakland owner may or may not be out. He's only missed 1 week so I don't want to auto boot the guy yet. I'm gonna give him a few more days to contact Dan (his next game) but if he doesn't I'll hold the Raiders for you.

Thats cool. I will check the thread to see if Oakland goes AWOL. I don't have to get Oakland. I will play with any team that the owner goes AWOL.

It looks like the Bengals owner is a no show as well. Which ever team you guys what me to be I will take that team.

Well actually I just noticed that the Oakland owner manually quit the league. What a dick. Why join a league, play 5 games, quit, and then don't even tell anyone? Man that's annoying.

Anyway, the invite was extended via the website. You play New England this week. Dan's ready to play.
