Hmmm... not sure what's going on there. I don't see anything in the admin section of the menu about membership requests pending. I'm like a co-admin of the Society, but Vader created it. Vader, you know what's going on with this? I know we had password requirements for TGC 2.
The full official name for our TGC 2019 Society is "DSP - Digital Sportspage". I don't show any pending membership requests when I look on that page. You weren't asked for a password were you? As far as I'm concerned, you and Mebby can just jump right in, once the "Enter tournament" option appears for you. Out Congressional Country Club tournament will continue through Monday morning, 4 AM EST. We'll have Dailies for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday next week, and then a 72 holer at the release version of Matt Rose's Casa Verde.

I approved yours and Cowboys last night, send another request and I'll check it in a few, hope the last patch didn't screw this up again.
Mebby's gamertag is Turnerm05. I saw Cowboys59's request had been approved, but I didn't know how long that had been there. I see now that I have to check the "members" tab to look at pending requests, whereas I had only been looking in "Admin". Thanks for looking into this Mark!
Played and really liked Cas Verde this morning. Shot a solid 68. I’m hoping to get onto Congressional later today for the 4 rounder. I’ve got 10 days off so I’ve got the time!
Took me a round and a half to get the green speed down at Congressional. Too damn holes in the first round really screwed me. Had a decent second round and shot a +2. Gotta grind it out in round 3 & 4.
Par 3 #10 at Congressional is an absolutely ridiculous hole. f*** it. Twice in the tournament I was thrown in the water for some f***in stupid reason. One hole totally ruined an otherwise fun tournament for me. Christ. Shot a +7 for the tournament...I was +9 on hole 10.
Agree with #10... I'm +3 through 3 rounds on that hole. There were some wicked pin placements in round 3, but I still had used on 18 putts through the first 16 holes... I used 5 over the last two, including a 3-putt from 9 feet on 17. I shot +4 for the round, but it should have been a lot worse if I hadn't putted lights out on 1 - 16.
I picked the wrong day and conditions to try to step back up to Master clubs. Post patch, I'm finding there to be a larger gap between Pro and Master clubs. It now seems to be considerably more difficult to modulate tempo with Master clubs. I'm going back to Pro clubs for round 4! Nice to know I've got a good challenge waiting for me once or if I get my feel back.
Do you guys feel like there are way too many lipped out putts? I've seen more balls hit the cup and spin out then I'd like. I'm not talking if it's hit too hard but dying putts into the hole spinning out.

Finished the last two rounds a couple of hours ago, just couldn’t buy any putts in the final round. Although challenging, I enjoyed the tournament overall, I just couldn’t figure out the speed of the greens in the final round.
I know it was set to firm and fast but I did not feel the ball was landing with the firmness and speed that it would on some other holes.
Par 5’s were key to birdie and get ahead on the game, yet I struggled to even break par on those long holes.

JOZ wrote:Very frustrating final round. Two balls in the water (yes #10 sucks) and a couple bad putting holes. Oh well, a fun first tournament. Congrats Lead.
Thanks Joz, I expect we'll be seeing you at the top of the leaderboard often.
About to set the tournaments for the next three days guys. Sorry for the delay, but it wouldn't let me set today's last night, until the Congressional tournament ended... boy did I ever blow up in that tournament! Enjoyed it though.

Congressional #10
That hole needs to be banished to He77. I played it at +3 for the tournament MacArthur Park is on for today, and tomorrow's tournament is at Tom Morris' Christmas course... it looked "Christmasey" but I can make no guarantees as to how it will play. It's gotten four stars over 140 plays, and is classified as "Easy".

Nope, not seeing that on my end...
EDIT: Never mind not getting into it with another one of these types.

I know and it's a black eye on the game, IMO. I can't believe they haven't given this some treatment, especially since it's more of an anathema than the lawn dart flop shots were that they've now fixed.

I do see them, but I also have almost as many putts drop that I've already looked away in disgust because it looked like they lipped out, or were going to lip out low, only to hear them drop. I can't really assess what the ratio of should have dropped and shouldn't have dropped lipped putts is, but yes, I do see this.
