Got mine, being the first in line at a Target early Tuesday morning, while dozens and dozens lost out waiting in line at a Best Buy a couple of feet away.

Got mine. Pre-ordered at Gamestop on May 13. I was #3 on their list (they got 16 in with 14 being the premium).

How does TW360 play?
It plays much better than I expected. Out of the box default difficulty with Pro characters is mind-numbingly easy. A trip to TOUR mode with all the swing aids turned off yields a surprisingly challenging game, especially considering the recent TW console versions. I have played on XBL in two Daily Tournaments and shot 67 at Turnberry and 67 at Pebble with Tiger as the character. Have not tried yet with my GF character, but I am nowhere near the Pro characters yet in attributes. Same settings offline with my GF character at Pebble shot a 91. So far....let me repeat...so far, the game has a comparable level of difficulty in TOUR mode as Expert is on the PC. I think it could be even more challenging if the green grid and putting information were either turned off or less detailed. So far, I am pleasantly surprised with the 360 version....

Wow. You aren't kidding. I can attest to this as someone that just got a HDTV but no 360. MVP 2005 looks like an entirely different game on an HD display.

Don't have one and I think I'll hold out until the ps3 starts to show what's in store as well as my next purchase being an HDTV.
You're invited over whenever. Seriously, we'll have to meet up sometime soon. I was so blown away by NBA 2K6, I called a buddy of mine last night to come over to check it out. Two hours later, we were still playing. I need to get an extra controller.

Yeah, I told my brother in law who has a nice 50" plasma TV and is a big NBA fan. He's like, "You didn't get a 360 on launch?", I said nope, I held back for once. I told him to check out NBA 2k6 in action in HD.

Question:

For those of you with HiDef TV's, what setting are you running your games in, 720p or 1080i???

I am curious as to what the consensus is.

I have the Westnghouse 32" LCD mentioned several times in these parts.

Someone on this board (sportdan, I believe) told me to run it at 1080i, and it looks very nice. Haven't tried it on 720p, but I believe the TV is compatible with 720p.

Stupid question: which setting is better?

I'm running my 360 at 1080i...only because my HDTV only has 480P and 1080i. The 360's native setting is supposedly 720 but if you set your TV to 1080i it upconverts...rather nicely I might add :)

Finally got one...

Atxj hooked it up with an extra CORE he had...sure, I had to pay a bit more but damn this thing is sweet. Worth every penny.

Plus I found the last HD at EB games...I nearly had to fight the clerk for it though. He claimed someone told him to put it on hold for them...I told him that it's first come first serve unless the other guy put money down on it. If he had, I woulda let him have it...but he didn't. So I basically had to talk to the manager and all that stuff. Good times...but I was successful. So I have everything I need now. Good to go.

I checked everywhere in the middle of nowhere Central Illinois while I was visiting my family for Thanksgiving and had no luck. I'm going to continue the search here in Huntsville but I'm probably out of luck until they're flowing steadily into stores.

Couldn't Zeppo have one by now if he was also willing to pay a $200 premium for a core?

Yes, probably. They are still going down in price as we speak...so in a few days it'll probably be even cheaper.

And yes, the 360 got here in one piece. Works great!
