Rediscovering NFL 2K5, comparisons to Madden 06

Ok....................

I bought madden for ps2, really liked the controls of it the first few days, until something hit me........the same flaws in the xbox version pop up on the ps2 version (Duh!)

Before everyone calls me an idiot, let me explain to you I was desperate to make Madden work. I still like it, but the more I play 2k6, I just have so much more fun playing it than madden.

So if anyone cares, I am sticking with 2k6 as my main NFL game this year. Its not perfect, but it just does so many things so good that I dont get the same fun experience from playing madden.

I am just playing season games with the updated schedules and it's good for me so far. I am not into franchise so if it's broken, oh well, I am not really gonna mess around with it.

Doing the same thing, playing one season with the new schedules. In fact I am only going to play one game a week following the Steelers to see how I do incomparison to the real team. Other then that it will be a ton of exhibition games and tournaments.

I still love the coach play calling mode for both offense and defense. I limit myself to a few audibles per long drive so I can realistically cuss out the coach calling the plays. I wish NCAA 06 had that and still let you control the action. I hate "Ask Corso."

can't you turn trades off?? i forget..that would help the franchise a bit, i still have my ps2 2k5 but i can't update the schedule, just the roster and i'd have to get my hands on an action replay too, anyone see that feature in madden the locker room, i thought it was neat you can trade files, the funny thing is i can trade some other files besides madden rosters, just not 2k files.
