One of these days, I'm going to try this game. It's been sitting installed on my XB1 since last week, and my daughter played it a bit on Wednesday. It looked fabulous. I've got to at least give it a shot this weekend at some point, reading these responses. Thanks, guys.

And I got Fallout 4 sitting pretty on the PS4 waiting to be buzzed. I keep telling myself after this game, but I know I'll give in eventually. From the hunting to the crafting, everything is done very well here.

LOL different sides of the same coin

I really, REALLY liked the first Tomb Raider reboot, too. One of the few games I've played to completion, then kept looking for collectibles trying to 100% it. If it's just similar to that and an evolution of that, I'll be all over it when I try it, for sure.

That's always been my hook as well (I see it but how the hell do I get there?) with the TR series. That was made popular by TR and every game that tries it just feels copied, even when it's done in the UC series.

There are more collectibles, and much better tombs, that matter now. It's fantastic. Plus, there are score attacks, co-op modes...

No. It's on the 360 at 49.99. Much better than 59.99 plus 349.99.

That's exactly what I said when Sony announced that Boodborne was a lifetime exclusive. ;)

So I finally booted this one up, and yeah....I can see where you guys are coming from. Holy crap, instantly awesome from practically the opening seconds. Not sure where I'm going to get the time to play all of these games lately, but it's a good problem to have, I guess.

My problem too. I've been playing my EA Access version of SWBF the past few days so I haven't played RoTR in 2 days. Such an entertaining game. I'm not one to scavenge for "every" little thing on a game but I find myself doing that with RoTR. I'm scared what would happen if I get Fallout 4

Finished the game. Great game, except for the end part, which stuck to formula. Level design makes it an absolute pain to go back for collectables. I gave up at 75%. Didn't care for challenges, so with nothing left I traded it in. Now its on to Fallout 4.

I finished the story a couple days ago. Didn't mind the ending all that much. LOVED the game. It's not a big change from the first one, but the new additions were mostly cool. I like that they're creating a continuing story with this. Word to the wise...there's a "post credits" scene in there.

I downloaded the game (360), so I won't be getting rid of it. Finding out that I get much more mileage and enjoyment out of the games that I put on the HDD over disc. I know there's supposedly a big addition coming later, and I like it enough to eventually find all the little things.

This was a GREAT series to reboot, and they've done a wonderful job with it.

This is all great to hear. It's going to be a Christmas purchase in our household, so it is killing me to wait. So I'm trying to 100% the first game. I'm at 92% right now, but the last items are killing me. I may just have to read a guide.

I'm getting an hour in here and there, only 30% done though. Freaking game is one of the best games I've ever played though. There is not one gripe I have so far!

How long is this game suppose to be? I played the first one when it was free and it was pretty quick.

I know I am nearing the end. But I do want to do as much exploration as possible, find as many documents, relics, try different challenges etc. I want to get the Siberian kit for Lara. So I could finish it anytime soon but the game is so beautiful, the puzzles, that you just want to keep on going.

One of my choices for GoY.

What do you mean by quick? By the time I finished, I was well over 20 hours in, and I still had more to do to 100% the game.

I only did the main story. Not the extras. It was great but quick. Talking about the first game here.

I've only played the first. I was at 80% when I was done, and had played about 25 hours. I just don't know how anyone considered it quick to play through.

If all one did was go from story mission to story mission, it would be pretty quick.

I'm barely into this one...I think maybe the third "mission" and I'm just hunting/gathering/exploring and will be able to take my time for once in a game like this. Actually having a blast in the hour or so I'll sit down and play it each time.

Yeah.. I do the hidden tombs, relics, etc.. I usually don't like some part of X game.. but with this one, everything feels like it was made for me. :)

I'm not into the 100 hours of crafting and all that and this game blends that in nicely. I can also veer off the path a bit and do some searching. The action driven store part of the game is really something to behold. Kudos to the developers, this game just grabs me each time I play it.
