Have another soccer game tonight at 9pm EST but hopefully on around 11:30 if you guys are still playing. Apart from playing on Monday with you guys (which was a lot of fun) I've had a pretty shitty time with this game, I think I've had the opposite experience to Spooky when it comes to randoms - absolute garbage. I would actually much rather play regular COD with randoms than this with randoms.
As an aside, anyone see this promotional video for the game?
LOL Tells me quite a bit about GR:FS's target audience......that's right - rappers who've been on crime dramas.
Wow, that was brutal. I know I've lost some of my shooter skill over the last few years, but that was just embarrassing. So, is playing in public matches the only way to earn levels to get the modifications to the weapons? I spent half the night with only iron sights because I had wasted my only mod token on a single fire trigger for my main weapon.

This game is prone to blowouts more than most. And as I said last night, I've never seen so many grenades and flanking as in our games last night. Try some games with other randoms, and even if you still suck, some games you'll stumble upon balanced teams.
Honestly I find upgrading the sights to be among the least worthwhile gun upgrades, as I rarely look through the sights myself. I just use the intermediate aiming, and use my upgrades on upgrading the trigger to semi-auto or burst, and change the muzzle, gas and stock for less power but more accuracy.

Will upgrading the weapon for accuracy shrink the aiming area for the intermediate aiming? When using the left trigger aiming it was giving me an area that seemed several feet in diameter. I would fire and fire and fire at an enemy in the middle of that area and not take them down. Then they would turn and fire once or twice and I dropped. From the kill cam it always showed them aimed in precisely on me for the kill.

I'm not sure the exact mechanics of this game, I just found that when I made those changes, I started dropping guys much more often. Looking down the sights in this game is a little dis-orienting to me, so unless I can really stop and snipe a headshot, I don't bother.
I'm going to die early and often with or without UAV's, so I'll abstain while those with the skill to make a difference decide the fate of those gadgets.
