Either way, we WILL be playing Wednesday Night Hockey, and get back into the flow.

I hope I get home in time to play. I should, even though because of primary elections we are starting late at 8:30 tomorrow. But I should be home by 10 on Wednesday.

I fully expect we will have nothing but private games on Wed, but you never know, and we may have enough on Wednesday for overflow from private games to play club games. So we do need to get the club started.

I like the name Ice Dragons, dammit!

It just happens every year at this time of the month for me. I hope to at least catch a game or two with your guys late tomorrow night as I have to travel out of town on Wednesday until at least next Monday.

T-minus 5 hours...

If my local GameStop doesn't have a copy today I'm going to be bummed. Mainly cause it means calling around and hunting the game down

Oh, and in honor of the passing of a film icon from my youth, and true star of one of the worst/greatest sports movies ever, Rally71 will be donning the jersey of Derek Sutton for the 2009-2010 Ice Dragons season.

Due to this, G7, can you change my number to 9. Gotta be authentic in my tribute! It doesn't appear that anyone is using 9 as of now. Thanks.

Ha... the poll was moot as the league that included our last year sweaters is gone

So the "changers" have it...

Here are a couple of choices I am considering...

Extraliga: Trinec to incorporate our "Dragon". I believe this was available last year...

Ambri of the Swiss League to incorporate our old color scheme... Actually it is slightly better IMHO b/c of a band of yellow across the lower back that breaks up the monotony...

Davos, also of the Swiss... Also a Blue/Yellow that was suggested earlier in the thread but a bit bolder...

I'm going to flip a three-sided coin for now, but please discuss or offer other choices... I expect, like last year, we can change whenever we like.

Installing game to hard drive then I'll be on. Are you able to mix logos and jerseys?, the dragon logo on the blue and whites would be sweet.

The red Trinec sweaters are awesome. Love the dragon and I love the red. Maybe a bit too Red Wings (being a Ducks fan) but nothing says Ice Dragons like dragon head logo.

So Trinec has the early lead... will let others weigh in, but in the meantime I am assigning them to try them on for size.

As an aside, I know I am going to *loathe* the sports shop before too long. I know I don't *need* to use it, but I like the idea of earning the boosts and further differentiating your player. Why couldn't they just do it with real life gear?

So here I am looking at myself with a Maori helmet and flame skates

The new fighting engine is better. But with so many so called tough guys online, matches may take much longer to finish this year, at least for the first month, until everyone starts getting sick of it.
