Oh dear are you in for a rude awakening, LOL. Squid it's more like the PS3 service only a little more confusing. You have to locate a server then find a room when online etc.
It's similar to MLB The Show and other Sony games.
There was some positive talk here recently about the Williams pinball game for the Wii. The Pinball Hall of Fame game for the PSP is another great pinball game.
I just started playing this again, and I'm hooked now. This is the find of the games that works perfectly on the PSP. The physics are spot-on, and it's a great pick up and play type of game. Highly recommended.
I had so much fun with the first HSG that I have the second installment on my radar. Open Tee 2 is coming up next week, if you haven't played the 1st one, I highly recommend it.
Picked up Open Tee 2. Pretty much the same game engine as the first one, cool cartoonish graphics and lots of goodies to unlock. I have been playing mainly the challenge modes and you have an online mode also this time. Loading time has improved thank goodness, not much else is different, so if you haven't play the first one which was very addictive, try this one out.

I am not sure how 'new' they are but the backgrounds including peaks and valleys do give you that sensation. Of course, for me it's the challenge of reading the greens properly what attracts me and not so much how long or different a course is. There are a couple of challenging ones out there as I couldn't even break par although I ended up winning the challenges but again it's the infinite prizes that you can unlock in this game that makes it fun.
And yes the online mode can take up to 16 people now, so a vast improvement in that mode.

You'll probably have better luck playing with your neighbor via Ad Hoc than Wi-FI as the game is still fairly new. You'll connect no problem via WI-FI but finding players was problematic. Give it another week or so.
So what's the consensus from you PSP owners? Still enjoying the system? I sort of dig the color of the new Madden PSP and have been thinking of pulling the trigger. Either that or the black one, but the bundles seem to be a better value.
Are there enough interesting titles on the horizon? I'd think I'd initially look into GoW:CoO, MLB, Patapon... What are the current anticipated titles?
Always my friendly game companion in my travels. There's a talk about a future firmware update which would include GPS. Still digging my HSG 2 game and MLB 08. One thing missing is EA's NHL game.
