Oden got away with one, that's for sure. Looked like a football play pushing that guy out of bounds.

I love seeing all these players walk with the ball or get beat to hell, and see no calls whatsoever. Terrible officiating as usual.

What an unbelieveable day of college hoops. I can't remember in forever so many close and exciting games in one day.

Its the nature of basketball...its hard to officiate so you always give someone the benefit of the doubt. ...

Its what the NBA is based on. Figure skating/Olmpics judging style officiating.

Well, if Xavier makes its freethrows, there's no discussion about it. Too bad, they played great until OT. The OSU 3-pointer to tie it was just a kick in the nuts.

I like Tenn. to win tomorrow and knock off OSU. They have a lot of offensive issues and a team with more firepower (especially from the outside) will give them a hard time.

So many good games today. This is by far the best sporting event of the year.

As usual there is plenty of great drama in the tourney which makes for fantastic television, but the basketball really isn't that good. As of right now only a third of the teams that have finished the 2nd round shot at least 45% from the field. Many teams shot in the 30s. UCLA and Indiana shot 33 and 36% last night. Tons of missed FTs as well.

I was thinking of you today. IMO, I think Kansas is playing the best basketball of the tourney right now. They are definitly scary. Can't wait to see them and SIU go at it!

It's a very interesting match-up. I think SIU can really wreck some havoc on KU's offense, frusturating them. However, I think KU plays damn good defense as well. If KU can get out and run, then I think Kansas can beat them. But, if they're forced to play SIU's game, it'll be close the entire game. As a spectator, I'd rather watch KU than a slug it out defensive team like SIU.

I like the latter. :D

Go SIU!!!

I just hope Memphis keeps moving on as I picked them to win it all.

WOOHOO! The Tar-holes are done, baby! Thanks to good ol' JTIII and the Carril Princeton system and an amazing group of kids with a never-say-die attitude. Unbelieavable, really, considering that first half which was way too high paced for a Georgetown game. Since leading 22-21 with 12:38 left in the first half, Georgetown was never ahead and not even tied until it was 81-81 with 0:32 left in the game. Amazing. And I was so sure with 4 on Hibbert and 4 on Ewing Jr. they would both be out early in the OT, but it was not so. UNC went cold as ice, there must be something about overtime that just rubs them the wrong way.

Amazing. Hooray for JTIII and his incredible resurrection of the program his father built.

I was glad to see Georgetown go through, as it gave me all four final four picks in my bracket for the first time Jah knows how long. But that said, I thought that Roy Williams laid a brick down the stretch and in OT. He really needed to make better use of this time outs to draw up some plays, sacrifice a chicken, dance around...something to get them out of that funk.

Memphis? Yes indeed... I was the only one in our pool, but I've watched them play this year and liked what I saw.

That is sweet! Best looking (on paper) Final Four in memory and you get a freebie. Some people...

Enjoy it - just don't rub it in too much.
