Tonight is actually bad for me, James, and that time is just a wee bit early.

Can you do Tues or Wed at 10:30 Eastern?

Actually, I'm a little worried about how long this is going to take. Anyone have any rough estimates on how long an online, say, 6-4, set takes?

A good 6-4 set will take about a half hour I'd assume. Lots of rallies and duce points really extend them.

Yep, that seems about right.

What's the deadline?

I'd love to play on Friday night so I can have a few beers and start later! Is that OK?

How 'bout tonight (Monday)? I could play anytime after, say, 9:00pm CST. Is that too late for you? If not, let's shoot for 9:00pm CST (10:00m for you right?).
9pm your time works for me, see you then.

No deadline, but we don't want this thing to extend for a month or anything. Just try to get you matches in best you can, no worries.

webdanzer (hewitt) defeats jamese (henman) 6-3, 6-0

GG web. It felt alot closer than that with all the deuce/adv/deuce stuff we did for a long time

I hate that Tim Henman has no power. Couldn't bury anything even if web was off to one side. Web had me running around with Hewitt.

It WAS a helluva lot closer. That 3-3 deuce in the first set was epic. Definitely the momentum shift there when I was able to eke that one out.

Hard to win as a lower ranked player, no doubt! You played very well, and thanks for putting up with no headset. (No one woke up! Yay! :) )

Slumber,

We gotta get our game in one of these days. Tonight is not good for me, but perhaps tomorrow night is better.

Let me know.

If someone wants to take my place, they are more than welcome. I can no longer play my match.

Thanks.

Still dissappointed on MLB 2k6 Dan? I just got home finally today and I have a few days off now to get my jetlag. I could take your place, who's your player and who are you playing next?

MLB 2K6 really disappointed me. It left me questioning whether or not developers really give two sh*ts about putting out a true next gen game.

In any case, I'm playing against Slumberland. I can't recall who my player is, but you can find it in this thread. Good luck, and I'll be rooting for you!

OK, slumberland I don't know if you had anything planned with Dan already but I'll be taking his place, so let me know when it's good for you.

Coria (Seminole) 7 7
Federer (Leebo) 5 5

Seminole dominates the beginning of the match (I think he started out winning the first 3 or 4 games) and the ending (he won the last 4 or 5 games to seal the deal) to spank Leebo's Federer. I just didn't have any answer to his serves, being out aced 11-3.

Man, what a fun game online! Very intense, but yet you can have a conversation. Too bad I suck! Actually, I think Seminole's good and played a much smarter match than I did.

Guys, I apologize for not getting my match in with Truth yet. We've set up matches the last two nights, but I had to bail on both. We will get it in this weekend, I'm sure.

Meanwhile, go ahead and play out round two if you're ready. You may have to wait a bit for your semifinal match, but it's not an issue for any other reason.

I wish there were a sepcatator mode; some of these matches have seemed pretty close!

I probably will not be around this evening web so Sunday night is probably best for me. Let me know what works best for you.

I'll try to aim for 21:00 PST, is that good for you? It's Hockey Night in Canada, so it's a bit wild here.
