Amazing what the Rams look like when they run the football again. My hunch is Gurley has been hurt far longer than the past couple of weeks. He's probably been nursing something and McVay wants to limit his touches. Of course, you can't SAY that in the media, but it's the only thing that makes any real sense.

C.J. Anderson may have just saved their season lol

Maybe! Play action works so much better when you run the ball.

CJ sacred the f*** out of me on the first drive when he missed that blocking assignment. I was oh no here we go again.

As for Gurley Id agree with you Rob and James if he didnt have his second best game of the season after the chiefs game and look great in doing so. I saw him get rolled up on his ankle early vs Chiefs. Texted My nephew and I think Jimmy or my brother ( the fog of war) what I saw. The announcers ignored it completely.

Gurley vs Lions. Nothing wrong with him at all. Seeing is believing.

I guess he could be just be that good...

Or like they did in every game prior to Thanksgiving. Opponent doesn't matter...when they don't even TRY to run the football, it's obvious.

Terry you know I agree with that 1,000,000 %.

Yet the Cardinals do make life easier. The 49ers on the other hand have yet to pack their bags. We will see how that goes.

They're definitely not going to put up 200+ on the Niners. But prior to Thanksgiving, they only threw 54.48% of the time, which was the 5th-lowest-percentage in the league.

Run that same query before the past game, and they're up at 59.22%, with their last 3 games being a whopping 69.85%. They jumped almost twenty percentage points in passing plays called per game.

Last week? 38.81% passes, and they could get away with it because it's the Cardinals.

But even getting back closer to 50% balance will get them much, much further the rest of this year.

Bingo!

Goff needs to be protected he is not Aaron Rodgers.

Running the ball is a great game plan until you play a defense that stops the run which the Rams will likely face during the playoffs. If you have a good front 7 to stop the run and don't need your safeties in support and a good secondary who can play tough they can ignore play action. We'll see how it goes in the playoffs but if I had to bet the Rams go out in round one.

Its not so much if the run is stopped. If you dont keep running the ball ..1) that idiot Goff will disgrace himself. He needs to be protected...2) the play action they run all game will fail.

They must run the ball( big yardage or no yardage does not f***in matter) or the Rams offense has no chance. Give up on the run and its a f***in disaster for this team.

They will go out in the first round because they dont have an NFL qb.

Problem is the rest of the guys are no shows. He has over 50% of the teams sacks. That is ridiculous. Horrible.

Any Offensive play caller with half brain has and will throw everything at Donald and forget the rest of these clowns. Focus your attention on him and dare the rest of them to step up. They havent and wont. They are reason #2 the Rams will not advance right behind Jared inspector clouseau Goff.

Gratz to Donald on breaking the 30 yr old DT record for sacks. Still has an outside shot at Strahan's phony all time record. Phony #1 because they didnt keep this stat in Deacon Jones days, #2 the Brett Favre giving Strahan free sacks.

Watched Jared Goff's Int of the decade. Keep in mind its third down. What do these five yds matter you dumb f***?

It was a no meaning game really for the Hawks, but I just hated it when they play down to their opponents. Losing to the 49’ers in OT two weeks ago, barely passing by ARI today in a squeaker at home making them the 5th seed in the playoffs. After that thriller on MNF vs the Chiefs, I thought they carried good momentum going into the playoffs but boy they struggled today finding any rhythm with ARI.

They face the Cowboys now and they better show their true colors or it’ll be a quick exit after fighting so hard to make it to the dance.

Congrats to the Eagles in what seemed an improbable run a month ago, but they have it tough with the Bears without any certainty with their QB situation.

Nice win for the Steelers too squeaking in.

You’d think the Bears would have wanted to lose today so they could play the Vikings at home next week. Assuming Foles is ok, I think the Eagles will give Chicago much more of a game than this sorry Vikings club. The Bears second string defense got 2 sacks and kept Cousins on his toes all half. Why the hell wouldn’t you wanna play them again?

Right, and both scores were marginal. Rams are built to win it all, Seahawks are still in transition. The difference this time is that they don’t play down to the Rams as they used too. Remember those days? They would think it was a walk in the park and still find a way to lose.

Steelers needed the Ravens to lose to get in, won't be officially eliminated until the Colts/Titans game is over, if that game somehow finishes in a tie the Steelers get in but that ain't happening.

I was surprised the Bears kept that starters in the 2nd half after the Rams were up 28-3 but I'm not against keeping a division rival out of the playoffs. Two things I liked today, Bears D getting it done in a dome, people say they can only play at home. Mitch putting together that 16 play drive to go up by 11 and converting 4 3rd down plays. If not for some horrible officiating I don't think the Viking wouldn't of scored more than 3 points.

Said it before it is all gravy and I'm fine with the talking heads like that uncle tom "Prime time" Sanders on NFL network disrespecting the Bears. I hope we take it to the Eagles next week but I won't be as disappointed if we do lose, like Foles and want him to do his thing if we go down.

Black Monday for several HC's. Adam Gase was fired, not surprised by that, even more surprised he played Ryan Tannehill on Sunday because if he got injured he was on the books for the full amount next year. You want an idea of what the epitome of mediocrity looks like? Up until the Dolphins stunned the Patriots, the Miami Dolphins record since 1994 was 199-199.

If the Dolphins manage to keep Mike Tannenbaum and Chris Grier and I wouldn't put it past the Dolphins owner because he created this mess, there's a rumor that Good 'Ol Rex Ryan thinks he'll be the next Dolphins HC. And I sure as hell would not be surprised or shocked to see him strolling the sidelines.

I’m not expecting some magical run for my Eagles in the playoffs but I wouldn’t want to be playing them. My Super Bowl pick is the Bears...and I feel strongly about that.

One of the big reasons the birds are playing well is obviously Foles is doing his thing but they are as healthy as they have been all year. Dougie has been calling plays well (unlike earlier in the year). If the OLine was what it was in early to mid-season Foles would be in traction right now. Wentz was dealing with a quickly collapsing pocket and being hit nearly everyplay, every Sunday...and still playing well. Also, (que 34 rant) THEY ARE RUNNING THE Fn BALL.

Some of it will have to with how healthy Foles is but I do see their little run ending in Chicago.

Not Ready to put the Bears in the Super Bowl just yet as the game vs Saints in New Orleans should be a great NFC championship game. Brees is not Cousins or Goff and the Saints play Defense now.

The Rams look one and done to me. Hope I am wrong but too many holes on D and Goff vs a strong pass rush is horrible even at home as we saw against the Eagles. Bears will maul his dumb ass again.
