He's the guy that dumbass Jed York passed over last year for Tomsula.

So you knew he was going to do well.
He flat out SHOULD be Coach of the Year. Miami has had a run of terrible coaches (Wannstedt, Saban's NFL tenure, Cameron, Philbin, and less so Sparano), so this is a breath a fresh air. A coach who can actually hold a team accountable and change the culture. Took him a few weeks (and a BRUTAL schedule to start the season), but he did and he should be rewarded. Basically is doing it with the same team they had last year (minus a few Pro Bowlers, Pouncy at Center and Jones at Safety), so he really has done SOMETHING. Very impressive.

Gase should of been the Bears coach but the ownership wanted someone established so we have shitty John Fox or at least that is the story going around.

At least my Madden Bears team is doing well drafter s stud OLB and a good QB.

No surprise in BUF as the Ryan brothers are gone. Rex saw this coming by his press reactions a few weeks ago.

Gase is coach of the year. The only other candidates should be Garrett, Del Rio and Belichick, but all three of those teams have far more talent than Miami.

As for Ryan's departure in Buffalo, good riddance. They're professional charlatans. The Bills regressed in every area under Rex except for the running game. Improvement there almost came by default with the addition of Shady McCoy and the decision to start a quarterback with happy feet for the last two seasons.

Gase's success is just another reason why it was time to fire Ryan. Gase arguably had similar or even slightly less talent in Miami than Ryan had in Buffalo, and he led the Phins to the playoffs in his first season as head coach. Ryan did nothing.

I know it wasn't a slight, it just goes to show how non-existent Miami is to the public...people don't even realize they are in the playoffs, that's why it's funny.

It has to be one of the luckiest seasons I've seen in a while. No idea how they've won 9 of 10...in a huge variety of ways too. So maybe I'm just conditioned to them losing all of the close ones from the past 10 years of futility, but worst case, it's been a hell of an entertaining year.
This season should be chalked up to "better to be lucky than good" for Dolphins and Texans....

Now the Rams are discussing trading for a head coach, because the last thing the team is an infusion of young talent.

First two years in Philly he won the 20 games...10-6, 10-6. NFC East title his first year. He hasn't always sucked. The league has simply figured him out. I am glad he's gone but during those first two years there wasn't much complaining.

Perhaps they have kept that cum dump fisher on as an "insultant"? Maybe he can trade another load of draft picks for another washed up mediocre coach?

The stench that is fisher just wont wash off!

Yes. Burn in hell scum bag. Burn in hell.

Bill's GM didn't know Rex Ryan was going to be fired and isn't sure why he was fired.

That's a real dumpster fire of an organization.

BS. The Pegulas sent out Whaley alone to lie through his teeth, covering for them. Whaley knew everything. He's a buffoon and inept, but the Pegulas are the one who lit the dumpster, not Whaley.

Bottom line: It's hard enough to attract a marquee coach to a small market like Buffalo. But no coach with any pedigree will want to work for an organization that is this publicly dysfunctional. Plus the team lacks a quality starting QB.

Fixing the Bills is a reclamation project, not a quick repair, despite the team's 7-9 record. That record flatters what is one of the most inept ownership groups and front offices in pro football.

I wish John Fox had gotten fired from the Bears. He is not a bad coach, but he is obnoxious as hell and not worth putting up with if the team isn't winning. Given that the Bears starting QB next year will either be a rookie or someone off the free agent scrap heap, they won't be winning any time soon.

I don't blame Fox or Pace, they inherited a s*** show but I'm surprised as well. Another year of this Fox is gone but Pace will go down with him. I thought Pace would make a move.

Rick Smith, GM of the Texans is working very hard to take that title away from Buffalo......he should have been shown the door when Kubiak was fired after 2-14......and he orchestrated the Osweiler deal without HC Bill O'Brien's approval, so we all know how well Osweiler is doing.....the $72M Albatross around the Texans neck....

Yeah, I agree. I'll take his performance because it was his best of the season. Managed the game and did not turn it over and made a few good throws that put some distance between them and the Raidrers. Can't help but think the game is much closer and played much differently if Carr was not injured as well as their Pro Bowl left tackle.....I'll take the playoff win as I had Houston for one and done, but do not see them advancing beyond the next round regardless of opponent, especially NE in Foxborough......
