BB gave me $300 for my PS4 towards my Xbox One with Kinect (AC bundle). Got $40 for my PS4 camera at GameStop which funded my NHL15 purchase....

I got a new unit because I took it back to Gamestop. Granted, my GS pretty much treats me like royalty and works around any systems they may have in place because I pretty much keep that store afloat single-handedly, but I've been able to exchange machines each time. If you got that replacement plan thing, you are just in time to redeem it before the year is up. It's worth looking into, at least.

That's just exactly what they did for me this morning at the MS store. Under warranty, told them about my disc drive issues, and they brought in a 'Robo model'.

So I asked WTH was that and the tech dude replied, 'Just unused units'.

It wasn't in an original Xbox box so I thought they better not give me a refurbished model. Upon my frown and the fact that I told them that this would be my third replacement, the dude went back to open a new boxed one for me.

That was nice, so I just need Live to be working soon and test the new machine.

My extended warranty is still for another year, after the 360 disaster, I went safe this time with my warranty.

Enjoyed the heck out of Singstar last night with my daughter. Picked up a microphone from GameStop for $9. Song selection is a little sparse but we already have 15 songs to start with. Most importantly, my daughter loves it!

I would never buy a digital version of a game off of Live outside of Arcade games.

Agreed. I will buy a physical copy of a game EVERY time instead of a digital download from Xbox Live because I know I can recoup some of the purchase price through a trade or sale, even if it's only $1 from the thieves at Gamestop.

I got Halo: Reach as a free digital download only because that's how it was packaged in the 250GB Xbox bundle I bought on Black Friday.

I'm with you guys UNLESS it's a game I know I will play for an extended period of time. I return my games to Amazon. Very easy shipping and payment.

Traded in my original 360 at the MS Store today walked out with the Assassins Creed Unity Bundle for $250. Not bad get AC Black Flag and a code to download Unity. Now have a 2nd XB1 for the family room and the kids. All for a 360 that hasn't been hooked up in 2+ years.
