Yeah but...David Stern actually said that it was a mistake putting San Antonio in the early game (they actually earned the best record in the West, whereas Cleveland didn't earn any court advantages) because that's what ABC wanted (Lebron in the afternoon game). So in actuality, you're lucking that the Cavs came back in the afternoon when it really should have been the early game on Sunday.
Interesting Lebron/Kobe MJ article. I think he's right at the end about Kobe:

I thought it was pretty damn stupid. Well, to be fair I thought the scouting reports of MJ, Kobe and LeBron were pretty good. Unfortunately, it had more of the Jordan Jockerism, with superhero statements like "Jordan would have never done that", when in fact we have no idea what Jordan would have done facing a Suns team that was 10X better than his and having to rely on Smush Parker. And of course, I do agree that LeBron has a chance to outshine both of them. Typical Skip Bayless, though...Inuyasha wrote:Interesting Lebron/Kobe MJ article. The only writer on the planet who I absolutely never agree with.
Even the guys I normally don't like occasionally write good articles. Skip is blessed with the ability to uniformly write illogical and misinformed opinions that pass as journalism. I can write better than that dude and that's not even a boast.
/End Bayless rant

Wanna know something funny guys...my mom just moved to Arizona and she just got a job working directly for Robert Sarver, the owner of the Suns. Talk about a hook up. She is his personal executive secretary. My mom worked for Bill Boyd in Las Vegas (he owns some casinos) and he's on Sarvers board of directors...he recommended her to him and viola...a 5 min. interview and she's hired. Awesome connection!

Yeah that was pretty clutch...especially since he wasn't shooting very well in the game. That was a hellova game. Guess the Suns CAN win when scoring under 100 and shooting horribly. 37% and winning??? At least they crashed the boards tonight...Marion with 19 boards and Tim Thomas with 14...Wow. Marion wasn't very good offensively AGAIN...he's missing way too many gimmes and he's dropping the ball too often. I've never seen him have such bad hands. Imagine how many he would have scored had he hit the shots he normally does in close...hell, he had 32 and it was not pretty.Inuyasha wrote:Now that was a MVP Shot. wow!

Damn, I missed the game because I figured it was a foregone conclusion. I should have realized as good as Detroit is they have the ability to play down to the competition. They still should easily win the next two but it would be an amazing story if the Cavs could stretch it to 7.

Yeah, I know I'm nothing but a low-life fairweather fan/bandwagon jumper, but man, I've REALLY enjoyed the NBA playoffs this year. I don't think I've ever been this excited about watching basketball.Inuyasha wrote:great game, nba is making me lose sleep this year.
I've always enjoyed the hockey playoffs in the past, but apparently the NHL doesn't want me to watch their playoffs this year. Especially after watching the Blue Jackets all year long, it's kind of a slap in the face to only throw me a bone once a week on Saturday afternoons. Way to grow your fan base, NHL.
But thanks to the NBA I haven't missed the NHL one bit.
And even if the Cavs lose their next two games, it's been a great run.
Btw, classy move by the Cavs yesterday, the whole team going to St. Louis for Larry Hughes' little brother's funeral.
