Totally agree PK, very entertaining. I was shocked the ref didn't stop it. I was watching Manny look to Cole in the 11th as if to say "come on, stop this," and couldn't believe he let it go on.

The PBF fight has to happen. Well, I sure hope it does.

That was quite the scene in Cowboys stadium. Hope there are more big fights there.

Spot on PK. Antonio as a Mexican would have never left the ring unless he was shot, his face was a bloody mess in the end. Every time Margarito tried to get close to Manny, he was punched with 3-4-5 combination showing that his speed was intact despite fighting out of his usual weight.

Mayweather you must step up.

Phuck Las Vegas, Dallas Stadium is THE NEW HOME for prize fights. That place was rockin and it looks like no one had a bad seat with those huge mama jama monitors. At least Jerry Jones got one thing right this year.

I agree while not a huge fight fan this fight should have been stopped at least in the 11th Rd when Manny was basically stopping and looking over to the ref hoping he would stop it so as not to kill the guy. Boo to the ref the right thing would have been to call it in the 11th although some might disagree calling it earlier.

Sergio Martinez placed himself into the top three pound-for-pound fighters in the world after dropping the neutron bomb from hell on Paul Williams last night in Atlantic City:

Is this fight a good one, Juan Manuel Marquez vs Michael Katsidis?

Has Fight of the Year potential written all over it. I wouldn't sell you a bag of hyperbole, Rod.

Katsidis is a straight-ahead brawler who is showing increasing skill. But he'll gladly take three punches to land one. A bleeder, so cuts could hurt him. Marquez is one of the most skilled boxers in the world, but Katsidis could rely on Marquez's Mexican machismo to lure him into a brawl.

Marquez beat Juan Diaz in his latest fight, but Diaz was able to hit Marquez more easily in the early rounds than he should have. This should give Katsidis chances to land his big power shots.

There will be action. There will be blood. I will be surprised if it goes the distance. You WILL be entertained.

A final, poignant storyline: Katsidis' brother Stathi was found dead last month, but Michael elected to continue this fight. Shows his warrior mentality. Also could provide an inspiration for an upset, much like the recent passing of Buster Douglas' mother inspired Buster to wage the fight of his life against Tyson.

My pick: Katsidis TKO 9 in the upset.

Watching the undercard now at atdhe.net. Litzau is hanging in with Caballero. Followed by Berto-Hernandez and then main event of Marquez-Katsidis.

Caballero looked all of his 34 years tonight. He looked disinterested. Litzau is a tough overachiever. I've seen him many times on ESPN's Friday Night Fights. I was very happy to see him win.

Litzau was a 13-1 underdog. I wish I had put a bet on him!

Another joke fight for Berto. He wants the main course at 147? Mosley, Cotto or Pacquiao would beat him. Pac would destroy him. Berto is the most protected, overpaid fighter in the world.

Now on to the main event ... could be EPIC.

It's a shame that Showtime and HBO had to schedule such solid cards against each other tonight. Bika is really pushing Ward hard on Showtime. That fight followed the Froch-Abraham Super 6 fight.

Yes. But it was the heaviest Marquez had ever fought. He's the best lightweight in the world, and he was fighting at welterweight, two classes above normal.

Marquez is a first-ballot Hall of Famer.

Same here!

Katsidis is in a world of hurt. He needs to turn this into a brawl, which is what he tried to do in Round 2. But Marquez is such a f*cking surgeon with his accuracy and intelligence.

My mouth is agape -- Katsidis put JMM on the floor in round 3. WHAT A ROUND!

Told you this fight would entertain, Rod! :) :) :)

I have it 58-55 JMM through six. Katsidis only won round with knockdown.

The announcers commented how Kats has lost his zip on the punches and not hurting JMM. And that JMM when he hears the 10 sec bell he turns it up.

Stopped and it was the right call.

Good stoppage by Kenny Bayless. Katsidis was getting pummeled by the best technical fighter in the sport. Still a very entertaining bout.

I REALLY want to see Pacquiao-Marquez III next.

Glad to talk the fight game with you tonight, Rod! :)

I am sure Pacquiao was watching this fight. Very good win for 'Dinamita' and kudos for Katsidis for hanging around and looking for the KO. He was gracious in defeat too, giving props to the winner. His elder brother would have been proud of him.

Marquez wants you Manny.

JMM-Manny III would be a great fight if Manny was willing to drop from 147. But Freddie Roach has said he wants to keep Manny at 147. JMM isn't as effective above 135 -- just look at his fight against Mayweather at the 144 catchweight.

I caught the fights on HBO as I didn't have the OU-Oklahoma State football game on in the area. All three were good fights and well worth it!
