The last 10 minutes of that game triggered memory of a bunch of conspiracy theories that were latent in my brain since the 90's. LOL

The Heat didn't do a reasonable job of taking a dive. :)

Magnificent performance. It was the anti-Decision. Media manipulation and fan interaction done correctly and with class and humor.

Agreed. No ridiculous tears & breakdowns! Just a celebration. His 'free throw' jabs at himself were esp great.

Dallas lost tonight on that 3rd to last possession where they kicked it out to Terry and he missed the 3. WTF they doing not having Dirk shoot the ball every time the last 2 min? That one time he didnt shoot the ball, that cost them the game. Wish Dirk would have drove that last chance like in game 2 instead of taking a shot.

Good series so far. It seems like each game from now on is going to go down to the wire. Mavs D is really causing problems for the Heat down the stretch. Wade's been great, and LeBron's sort of been non-existent. His #'s look good, but he's not playing to the level he did vs the Bulls. Seems like he is just letting Wade run the offense and he will get involved in spurts up and down the court. It'll be interesting to see if one of the games LeBron just takes over.

Dirk again. Looks like when DAL plays that zone D, miami can't score. Why don't they play that D all game then? Lebron 8 points. What reporter is he gonna scold now after this performance? Seems like the rest of the games are going down to the wire. Miami needs to find a way to make a play vs that Dal D late in the game or they're done.

Dallas could use Caron Butler to match up better against Wade and LBJ, not just to defend them but make them defend someone other than Nowitski.

I really thought after the way James played against the Bulls, he was going to step it up in the Finals, but he's retreated into his passive playoff self. Maybe he doesn't understand you can play defense AND score.

This has been a very enjoyable series and yes LeBron deserves the criticism. It's like he wants Wade to take over. Give credit to Bosh for at least attacking the boards and shooting the ball. I want Miami to win but seeing Dirk win a ring would be nice too.

BUT the Mavs still have to deal with the loss of Game 3 where every team who's won Game 3 with this playoff format are 11-0. I also think Miami will be more jazzed and play desperate at home. Don't be surprised if Miami loses the next game and have to win both in Miami.

Blame this one on LeBron. No points in the 4th until the game was over in the last 30 sec.

Mavs just won the title. NO way Heat beat the Mavs 2 in a row, even at home.

Scottie Pippen looks like a fool now.

It's a cliche, but it's true in this excellent series: Dallas just has bigger stones than Miami. Will and skill always will beat skill.

Dallas looked dominant in 2006 to, when the series shifted to Miami.

Then the refs decided to give Wade every cheap foul imaginable. Certainly the league has no reason to see Cuban win a championship.

Well, "giving" Miami & this whole 'bail on small markets & make a superteam' concept a title isn't in their best interest either...

edit: not that I think the nba front office is deciding who wins championships. that's crazy talk.

NBA under Stern has always focused on superstars, making them bigger, sell more merchandise, get better ratings.

Which players would it be in the league's interest to see do well? Dirk or Wade and LBJ?

Well so much for that 11-0 run when a team wins Game 3.

I agree, no way Miami wins two in a row even at home. They will rue the early celebration fiasco in Game 2 when they pissed off the Mavs after being up 15 points late in the 4th. Also James will have to deal with the tag of being a quitter in big games.

So the Big 2 do the stupid thing by making fun of Dirk's fever before Game 5, real class.

LeBron is really getting hammered by the media today. Quite deservedly. Liked Whitlock's column :

Thanks for posting, that was an excellent article and sums it up pretty much for the guy who likes the world to center around him. If the Heat lose this series they will have the honors of breaking the 11-0 run in the new playoff format when a team wins game #3.

These guys literally have been their worse enemies from celebrating early in front of the Mavs bench after going up 15 points late in the 4th quarter to making fun of Dirk who was playing with a high fever in Game #4.

I'm definitely a Heat fan but these guys just border on classless and clueless. I always felt this was a Game 7 series and fortunately i'm torn between seeing my team win it and Dirk winning a Championship ring that's eluded him while sticking it out in Dallas for all these years.

Once again, they gave the opposition more motivation and once again it worked against them. I guess they will never learn.

So D-Wade tells the media it was all a joke and they wanted to bait the media by doing all of this and that they got baited.

So they're beyond classless and clueless to now being stupid ! :P

Meh, don't care whether they have good sportsmanship or whatever. If Heat lose and Lebron walks off sulking again, wouldn't care that much.

Thing to be more wary of is a repeat of 2006, when the series went to Miami and Wade kept getting cheap calls on iso plays near the top of the key. He knew the refs were giving him those calls so he cheesed it like crazy and that turned around the series. That was how they got around the half court problems they're still having this year.

Don't know about that. The reason they beat the bulls in games 2 and 6 were because LeQuit had clucth games. He's not doing that vs Dallas. Wade can get all the calls but if he's the only one scoring then they're no diff than Rose and the Bulls.

did they sell out game 6 in Miami? Sounds like a lot of Dallas fans are there, you can hear a loud cheer after every Dallas basket.
