FIFA rankings are still kinda sketch, but I think they are a big improvement. Maybe the african teams are too high (the region was rated too strongly), but I think most of the places actually look somewhat reasonable--something that couldn't be said about the old rankings system.

Also, keep in mind that the rankings are based on the last 4 years. The 2006 WC is merely a small part of deriving the rankings, hence USA ahead of Mexico, Cameroon and Nigeria up there....etc.
