We actually thought that the 2 beers just killed you. :)

Never a dull moment.

Gotta love it!

Good intra squad games boys, fun as usual.

And Teal, we all thank you for the GTA invite but we are sticking to hockey nights on weekends. We do need another sniper though, if you ever care to join us.

Snipers?.........The 10S hat trick to give us the 6 on 6 win.

That was too sweet!

GREAT job in goal Naples!

Pete Lampman jumped in an OTP game last night and it felt like I was skating through mud. As a casual pick up and play once in a while player, I will never catch up as far as improving my players skills. Is there an OTP mode where you can use real NHL players?

I don't think you can. Maybe try playing a couple of offline modes like be a Pro, even on rookie mode if you want with 3-4 minutes periods and sim thru it to unlock a couple of XP. And keep playing a lot. Other than that you'll have to buy a couple of attributes which costs between $2-3 bucks.

When we have 6 or more DSP guys online we set up a private room and play against each other, that way half of us are guaranteed a win and you can level up pretty quickly with your pro in the beginning playing that way.

The cheapest thing to do is buy a boost pack, not single attributes. I'd rather spend $3 on a boost pack and instantly get a competent player, rather than grind for hours or upgrade piecemeal.

I've let my skater upgrade naturally, but for my online goalie I'm still running on that boost pack.

Fellas.. In a nutshell how does 14 compare to 13? Is it worth the price of admission? Any major addition / gameplay changes other than fighting?

Thanks.

It's just a tweaked version of 13, but mostly for the better.

The things that stand out to me:

-poke check is toned down

-goalies are a bit more true on breakaways, and with a little more variety than constant money shots.

-the bat loose puck works a lot better, which I use quite a bit, although this game still needs one touch passing.

-checking is much better and more momentum based.

I just wanted to thank you guys for accepting me on to the Ice Dragons team.

Even though we seldom win our games (must have something to do with this new MERACE guy   ) I enjoy playing with you guys since you don't take the game too seriously.

HEHE... its all good fun. I think our victories last night promoted us to the "get your ass kicked" division.

I seriously should hang up my skates after that 5 goal performance last night! :). Ridiculous. Contrary to reports I will remain an active player and continue to b*tch about anything and everything...especially our boy RamJag.

Spectacular performance indeed. I need to learn how to count. You only had five? I thought it was six. I said this is the night that Diablo had a double hat trick at least once....You secretly love ramjag. :P

Last night was truly epic!.... Why we lace em up.

Except we all should have left when Jimmy left.
