No idea what's happening on your system, however, I do know that the device doesn't keep a constant connection like an iPad or an iPhone/Android phone would. It's only using the wifi when it's needed. So for example: put it to sleep, then wake it up and go into the PSN store. It should re-connect to the wireless at that time when it needs the connection.

Yeah that is working what I guess is making me wonder is when I go into games it says network services not available like it lost the connection. Maybe it hasn't idk.

The only issue initially for me was when I was trying to remote play both systems and my Vita kept losing the connection. Having said that, my router needed an upgrade as I was losing connectivity with my Mac and iPad on and off, but since buying the Cisco 4200 router this week, I haven't had any Wi-Fi issues with the Vita.

I don't have a Vita yet, but when I do buy one I think I'll get this Hori Face Cover case on Amazon to go with it. For $13 it looks like a great accessory.

What kind of battery life is everyone getting? I was a little surprised how fast the battery life goes.

Quick question...Can you DL games/demos via the PC and then transfer them to the Vita via the Content Manager? It's kinda slow doing it with the Vita via wifi. My guess is the Content Manager is for backup purposes.

I might be revamping my network setup this weekend to hook up all my consoles via a hardware connection. I know I can DL and transfer via the PS3 so that might be my solution if the PC--->Vita transfer isn't possible.

Pretty sure you can only download from the psn store from the ps3 or vita. It's much faster via ps3 and I actually did the same thing this weekend. Moved my router from across the room to behind the ps3 and 360 so that I could hard wire. The other reason is because the dumbass fios router/modem only allows you to Mac filter only 10 devices and I've got 12 if I could my 360 and ps3. What a pain in the ass.

I got everything working. No issues regarding installing/removing game carts and memory card. Dealing with the Cowon J3 memory card everything else is a breeze. I did install the full Armorsuit and I found it OK not the end all product everyone makes it out to be.

I fired up F1 and i'm enjoying it a lot. I'm using the D-Pad and it's a helluva lot easier to control the car.

I'm loving Uncharted so much it really reminded me why I love these games. Thinking may need ot nab UC3 and finish UC2 assuming I can get over the motion sickness of it.

Mod Racers is hell of a lot of fun. Hot Shots is ok and I haven't open Marvel yet. Other then that I am not sure what I would want to get but this should hold me over until the Show.

I don't understand the purpose of the AR cards for the soccer game. I adjust all the cards and I also quit, got board with it. The fireworks game is easier to understand.

I like how you can use a different theme for each window page, nice touch. And boy the touch response is ultra accurate.

If you get Uncharted 3 be sure to enable the Alternate Aim settings in the Options. This makes it control more like Uncharted 2.

Uncharted 3's aiming was screwed up before they patched in the Alternate Aim option, but they didn't turn it on by default.

I'm becoming more impressed with the system. I DL The Fifa demo to get a feel how sports games translate to the Vita and was very impressed with the visuals and touch controls. There is a lot of potential with this baby. I kept visualizing how cool The Show is going to look on it :). Great stuff.

On Fifa I decided to just turn off the back touch feature as I was shooting accidentally too many times for my liking. The issue is that the touch screen is very responsive and my index finger would get in a way much more frequently than what I'd like. The game plays fine on dynamic camera, better than default.

Just saw at the Costco near us a Vita bundle that included a case, 8GB memory and HSG for $299.

That makes me feel better about my $240 Vita bundle. The press is trying to lean on Sony about all the benefits of a price drop. They keep hinting a price drop to $180 for a Vita with translate to 2.2 billion in sales for the year.

It'll be awhile before sales flat line and Sony drops the price.

Well they could keep sales up a certain level by offering promos, so they're in effect cutting the price but not officially doing so.

Toys R Us is offering some gift cards with a bundle, I believe.

What are the big games lined up after The Show and Little Big Planet?

I'm sure they'll get Madden for it and the next FIFA could really help them in Europe. Have they secured the big shooters from Activision and Epic? Did they even demo a GT game?

I'm really liking my Vita thus far. Great screen size, beautiful image, nice control layout - what more could you ask for?

What I'm also realizing is that the Vita might re-ignite my passion for sports games. I used to be an exclusive sports gamer, until about 3-4 years ago, when I started getting more into action/adventure games and felt that sports franchises were feeling a bit stale. I also didn't have enough time to play through a sports franchise or even season.

However, with the Vita, I can see myself sneaking in a game during lunch, while my wife watches "The Voice", etc...

I downloaded the FIFA demo upon purchase and was instantly hooked. The game plays fantastic - I'll be picking up the full version today at lunch.
