Yeh just watches him never even moves and skates away after i think he said"'oh good now i can make that Tee time on monday with Spezza"

Thing is Marleau is on a different train than the rest of them and he dropped Thornton off at the station in Detroit. Thornton seems to be platying soft again.
I havnt seen a lot of Thornton but does he always get rid of the puck so fast like its a hot potato, it looks like hes scared to me, forces passes rarely takes a hit to make the play, i feel for the guy as i like him a lot but hes doing his reputation no favors again this series, he looked good the first two.
I want the Sharks to win so they can shake that bad rep but it doesnt look good .

Taves is awesome , unbelievable in fact. So is that line and yes i spelt it right.

Subban is not on the same level as Doughty, Drew doesnt make half the mistakes he does but hes still going to be a beast.

I like D.R. but his use of fancy words is starting to get to me.

Maybe 34 your like me and cant understand half the words so PKs funny passes us by while my face is in the kids dictionary
Plus he was probly being funny at Your teams expence.

What a waffle that is, i need Red Dead quick.

Good catch on Soupy keeping the puck in PK. I was saying the same thing to my nephew last night. Just like Toews boardwork led to the Hawks first goal, Soupy keeping it in the zone led to the OT winner. I've been waiting 18 years for a return trip to the finals and they're 1 win away. I've been waiting my whole life for them to hoist the cup and if they can find a way to win 5 more games my wait will be over.

It will be interesting to see what the Sharks bring tomorrow. Will they play hard til the end or will they play like a defeated team?

I wait, I wait, I wait, I wait.

Habs down 2-0 after two...

The Flyers have reverted back to 1974-75 mode. They are a brick wall defensively and patient with flare when needed offensively. They have definately arrived in Montreal.

It doesnt look like philly will be giving up this lead in the third but anything is possible. Possible that is as long as the Habs dont give up...

KEEP PLAYING BOYS! and Lets Go Habs!!!

Love it! Heading back home up 3-1! Flyers just took over the game after the first half of period 1. Another shutout!

Three games to one and back to Philadelphia. This is the same situation the Canadiens were in going back to Washington two rounds ago but these are not those crazy Caps. The Flyers are just SOLID.

Still Im not giving up. Anything can happen as long as you dont wave the white flag and you keep working.

Lets Go Habs!

Of course not. Not yet, anyways. P.K Subban played what, less than a dozen games so far in the NHL? Doughty has already two years under his belt and an Olympic gold medal. Subban will be a monster for the Habs.

One good thing about MON is that they've been in this position before. And the less people believe in them, the more comfortable they seem to play under pressure. But this is a tough task to do, especially for the third time.

The Hawks go through to the finals without Duncan Keiths four front teeth.

All I keep thinking of during this run is watching Hawks playoff flame-outs with my dad on grainy-ass Sportsvision while screaming at them to do something, anything on the power play LOL

Great win! Let's get 4 more.

PS Major props to Patrick Marleau for playing an absolutely monstrous series.

Soft call on heatley for the penalty that leads to the series winner.

Im such a hockey profit so im not going to predict the final i dont want to be right all the time but lets just say Flyers Hawks should be epic and be a long series hopefully, im not ready for it to be over.

Habs and Flyers 1-1 after one.

Richards a monster on the flyers first penalty kill. First knocking down the dainty Bergeron with a shot to the face leading to one scoring chance. Then tying the game on the same pp as Halak and Hamerlik played smash up derby.

Except for their power play the Canadiens appear to have showed up for the game tonight. Keep playing you dumb to know you suck s.o.b.s and...Lets Go Habs.

Well...That was not a very good period. Habs regular 21st century defensive zone coverage rears its ugly head. Gill? Where you going brah?

Flyers looking good and looking to get it done tonight.

Still only two goals down and twenty minutes to play. One goal at a time. Hang in there. Hopefully for not the last time this season...Lets Go Habs!

Grats to the Flyers. They did a great job top to bottom.

Habs. Great run. They gave FAR FAR FAR more than I expected and in doing so really have made the playoffs even more fun and exciting than usual.

Hawks vs Flyers should be a blast and ordinarilly Id wish the Flyers luck but not with Chicago as the opponent....Go Hawks! :)

Even Laperriere and Carter are back, Hawks have more depth and skills overall. Flyers D won't be able to keep up with CHI's speed. The only chance they have to win it all is to pummel the hell out of everyone in their sight, at every corner of the rink and be physical for 60 minutes. If not it's the Hawks in 5.

Great, great win. Richards was Mesier-like tonight.

The only thing that will suck about this Finals match-up is having to watch Sharp and Kane play for the Hawks, when they could be in orange & black if Hitchcock hadn't gone mad and traded Sharp for a bag of pucks and the stupid lottery hadn't cheated the 06-07 Flyers out of the #1 pick. (Kane has 230 points in 244 regular season games, JVR has 35 in 78.)

Awesome win for the good guys. Unfortunately I was at a goddamn baseball scrimmage and missed the ENTIRE GAME. F'n figures. Oh well. Richards was huge. Love the guy and I love that he gets to show who he is on a national...continental...stage.

Stevie Y will be the new GM in Tampa. Classy guy will no doubt turn the misfortunes of this franchise.

Obviously the Hawks are more talented than the Canadiens, but I'm not sure the Hawks are that much faster than Cammallieri, Gionta, Gomez etc... That speed looked awful slow against the Flyers top-4 managing all of 2 goals in their 4 losses.

Yes, I was just beginning to get over the awful luck of getting the number two pick that year despite an historically bad season and the worst trade ever; Sharp and Meloche for Matt Ellison and a 3rd rounder.

If you judge this series on regular season records, obviously the Hawks are huge favorites. However, on paper and based on postseason performance this is pretty even. Remember this Flyers team is talented enough that they were The Hockey News preseason pick to win it all.

They got speed, but more imporantly the Hawks has also size, something that the trio you mentioned just doesn't have and in my view were well contained with a bigger team like the Flyers, even though they're swift skaters.

No doubt that for the most part the Hawks are physically larger than the Habs but the Flyers strength came from more than just the size advantage. They were like a damn brick wall. I never got the feeling that that wall would give way.
It is going to be interesting to see how it unfolds. Every series takes on its very own life.

This should be a hell of a finals.
