Lazio-Fenerbahce
3 GOALS 0
14 SHOTS 6
8 ON 4
7 FK 9
5 CK 1
0 YELLOW 1 (Anelka 45'+)
45 POS 55
Baronio 18'
Rocchi 21'
Cesar 78'
A rather dominant effort from Lazio. Three clinical, deadly strikes to Rustu's top-right corner, and the score could have been higher if not for several good saves by the aforementioned Rustu.

HI,
Back from a miserable golf vacation where I saw 1 day over 70 degrees and the sun once.
I'm not sure what I should be doing for this league. Seems like I got a team assigned, but need to pick a stadium? An then get set up in some league module, not sure where that is.
I only skimmed this thread, if someone wants to throw me a bone and tell me what to do it would be much appreciated.

Take a couple of minutes and read the first post of this thread. It has all the info you need, and if you have any problems getting settled at the SGN league site (the link is in that first post), PM Jason here and he will hook you up. Other queations, feel free to PM me and I will try to get back to you as quickly as I can.
Very good game, Atx.

Hristov 5'
Manfredini 8'
Klimovicz 15'
Di Canio 20'
VanderHeyden (Own Goal) 80'
Muzzi 89'
Hristov opened the scoring for Wolfsburg early on, only to see it matched three minutes later on a sneaky pass around the wall of defenders into the box from a free kick. Manfredini found himself all alone as everyone expected a straight shot on net. The halftime whistle found the teams dead-even at two goals apiece, and things pretty much stayed a chess game until a late own-goal deflection put Lazio up for good. Muzzi sealed the deal when he converted on what would be the last of his many runs up the field all previous attempts having been parried away by the Wolfsburg keeper.

Fenerbahce's Woes Continue; Lose 3-1 at Home to Newcastle
Fenerbahce continued their losing ways in Season Two with a 3-1 defeat at home to Newcastle, playing their first game in their inaugural season. Michael Owen recorded a hat-trick for the visitors.
After a scoreless first half which saw Rustu (Risko) make several superb saves, Owen opened the scoring with a fine finish in the 73rd minute. He quickly added another, beating Rustu again in minute 77. Soon after, Owen received a perfect long pass that was threaded through two defenders. Seeing him running free towards the box, Kemal (Kenau) had no choice but to bring him down. The foul resulted in a red card, the first ejection in the short history of the WE DSP League.
Marco Aurelio (Man Altonio) was able to score Fenerbahce's first goal of Season Two in the 79th minute to bring the score to 2-1 after some nifty work in the box by Anelka (Aneulta) who set the midfielder up with a nice pass. Owen capped the scoring, comleting his hat trick, in stoppage time.
In the second half of the double header, fans were treated to a 2-0 victory by Brazil over Morocco, a late replacement for the unable to attend Ivory Coast, with two goals by Juninho, the first a picture-perfect free kick from 28M that kissed off the inside of the post and in.

Good game Rob. Rustu was amazing, but he couldn't do it alone. The frustration is mounting, although I'm glad I got one goal in. Poor Alex hasn't found the net yet, so his quest for the all-time DSP WE League goal socring crown is not looking good!!

Gents,
I will be going out of town Thursday and returning Sunday morning, but realistically I won't have time to play neither tonight nor Wednesday. Maybe, just maybe I will be able to get a game in tonight, most likely against Rob, since our last game got disconnected, but I'm pretty busy right now. Sorry 'bout that. We might have to extend this deadline, Zeppo.

That was fun, Nyisles!
Here's the write-up:
PSV 0-1 Bayern Munich
10 Shots 14
1 on 2
0 pen 1
3 fk 6
3 ck 4
7 fouls 3
4 off 0
43 poss 57
Alex (own goal) 25'
Yellow Card: Lucio
PSV and Bayern Munich must learn to finish if they want to climb out of division 3. The two clubs combined for 24 shots, but only 3 were on target. There were numerous missed chances for both sides including several shots that struck the post and Bayern even failed to convert on a second half penalty shot. PSV was hampered by some ill-timed offsides infractions. Bayern controlled possession for long stretches of time, but failed to capitalize and routinely missed the net by a large margin. Both teams are looking forward to the rematch.
