Finally got by those god awful stealth missions. After I was done I needed some stress relief so loaded up a LMG just road to orange blobs on the map, didn't bother using the drone just got out and started mowing people down.

Bring on the PvP!

Uh, it was the Oilers' game. :) But it will be the Ducks' game in about a week if McLellan doesn't find a way to neuter the Getzlaf line.

Hmm ... let's schedule a GR:W session right at kickoff for a big Auburn or SEC football game and see if you show, DICK! :) :) :)

A wise man in Northern Alabama once told me on Xbox Live, "PK, there are only three things that matter in Alabama: Jesus, Junior and college football."

I was reading that yesterday, it has potential but some of it sounds gimicky sci-fi s***. The enemies with the terminator camo and crossbows. However it should be cool to be the hunted.

Narco Road was so disappointing that it's tough for me to do anything but eye roll at this point.

The base game was fantastic, but after playing all way through it 3 times (once on each platform), I'm burned out and the first DLC was a nightmare. I may give it a shot at some point, and I got more than my money's worth out of GRWL, that's for sure. I think there was a 30 or 45 day span where I played it nightly, in some cases for hours and hours.

Yeah, the one content add on everyone wants is the one that still has no date... Lol. I'm as skeptical as everyone else, but I got the damned pass, so I'm getting it regardless. I sincerely hope it's good, though I hate they're bringing back the invisible camo crap. But if it's not goofy, it'll be a step in the right direction.

I also think the removing of the HUD at upper difficulty levels will make it much harder.

Got the Fallen Ghosts dlc, just started playing it. It's early, but thankfully its decidedly not goofy. Just encountered some of the "cloaked" guys. It's actually cool. You can see them with the naked eye, but can definitely easily see them with heat vision. They weren't much of a problem, but again, it's early. The tone is serious, and it's not what I feared, a la horde mode. You crash, and the Unidad are looking for you on the mountainside, but not descending upon you in waves or anything. Looks to be a completely different set of areas. Only bummer is that, again, it's separate from the main game. However, I'm getting good vibes off of it thus far. More later.

I agree, only played about 45 minutes but this is way better DLC. Challenging and not silly, really digging it

Played some more of this early this morning. This DLC is really good. As I explained it to Terry, I feel like it is a TV series or movie. Not that it doesn't have the open world of the original, but it just feels tighter story wise.

As Teal mentions the camo guys are done perfectly. They don't show up on the Hud but you can see them with the naked eye and really see them with Thermal. Supposedly an EMP will also knock out their camo but I haven't tried that. The heavy armor guys are a bit trickier if you find yourself in a firefight with a few of them, as you need head shots to kill them. Also I may be imagining it but the AI seems like it got a bump tactics wise, and it wasn't bad to begin with.

I feel like this DLC is made for coop, some of the early mission where you need to gather Intel are into heavily fortified positions. My AI team mates just aren't cutting it so far.

Refreshing surprise after the first DLC which I thought was horrible.

Yes, I think they are most definitely more lethal. Okay, PK, Bill, Rob, Terry, this is worth the purchase. I didn't like playing solo before, because I could use the AI guys and pretty much run the table. Not any more. For starters, the elite snipers are deadly. They will pick you off quickly if you don't take care of them first. Secondly, I think the AI in general is better. They will flank more efficiently, and seem to seek cover better. Just got mowed down in a sniper tower, and never saw it coming. Only one guy snuck up the tower stairs, while the rest provided cover fire and kept me focused on them. Awesome. THIS is the dlc we were waiting for. I'm seriously considering waiting to do any more until you guys pick this up and we can Co op. I love it.

I'm sure I have it--the problem is my house went up for sale today, so my time for the next few months will be sketchy at best. I've spent the past couple of weeks doing all that little crap you have to do to prep a place to hit the market, so not sure what sort of time I'll have to play. What little time I HAVE had to play recently has been in 30 minute bursts or so.

Sorry, man!
