DO NOT buy TW12 for PC, period. It is one of the worst POS EA has ever released.

Having played TW12 extensively, it is a good game, but I can tell you that the random landing areas will drive you crazy....you have little control over your shot results, especially in the short game. While I realize you do not care for the putting in TW13 demo, I would wait for impressions on the final version before I made a decision one way or another. Like others who have posted here, the putting is really good when you have put in the practice time and turned the meter off. Kinect putting is really well done IMO.

Thanks. I had no intention of the buying the PC version of either game. I'm all-console now except for iRacing.

I'll probably end up getting TW 13 because I've backed off on a purchase of FIFA Street until a price drop, which may come more quickly than expected. FIFA Street is getting ripped heartily on many forums.

I have removed the training wheels and will play Tournament level only. I'd rather shoot 95 on the hardest level than score regularly in the 70s with Cliffs Notes.

Spent some more time with the game today and really enjoyed it. I really like the Kinect putting. I seem to have a very good feel for the way things roll. Still working on the swing. Early on I seemed to pull everything no matter what. It seems that when you finish your swing you have to really stay through it the whole way or else it's going to be a hook. It probably has something to do with the fact that you do not have a real club in your hand. I'll be spending some time on the Augusta practice faculty to hone the Kinect swing.

I too am starting to get a better feel for the tempo putting swing.

Just installed TW13 CE on my 360 and now generating my GameFace and character, then off to the Augusta National Practice Facility to begin honing my Kinect swing.....

I DL'd the demo on the PS3 to see how much better the Move functionality is from last year and I was impressed. It's much better than last year IMO. That being said I'll still be getting it on the 360.
