BRUTAL turnover by Pronger on Montreal's second goal. Couldn't have happened to a better guy. :)

Its 2-0 after one. With a goal post keeping it from being 3-0.

Seriously Versus? You cant get a guy who knows his asshole from a hole in the ground to do the color in the freaking conference finals?

Keep working guys. Do not lose concentration. The Flyers will be getting off of the plane from Philly soon. I doubt they will be this apathetic the entire game.

Lets Go Habs!

Habs can beat any team as long as they skate like they have tonight. They just have to get outshot by a large margin. 8) It's getting nasty out there.

Canadiens in the series with a 5-1 win.

Nice bounce back game by the Habs. They came to play and play they did. The intensity they seemed to have left in Pittsburgh is back.

The Flyers reminded me of a tennis player up 2 sets to 0 in the way they seemed to rest this game. I look for them to come out Flying on sunday afternoon. They did seem to arrive in Montreal in the third period.

Note to self. Do not fight Hartnell. I was watching a hockey game and a fight broke out 8)

We now have a series. Maybe....Either way LETS GO HABS!

Yeah whats up with that s***?

In this years playoffs they are now 1-5 when they out shoot the opponent and 8-3 when they are out shot....Thats strange and proof that stats are just stats and that the only one that matters is the final score.

What's wrong with Daryl Reaugh? He's one of the funniest, most insightful color men in the NHL.

This falls under the each his own category. He has yet to make me laugh or state anything but what I consider the obvious or the who the hell cares.

I would so prefer Eddie O....Not that I think hes great but he has grown on me. Maybe D.R. will do the same.

I think Eddie O is OK, but my opinion of him might be tarnished by his constant partner -- Doc Emrick. Guilt by association for Eddie O.

I'll take Ray Ferraro over any of them. Chicken Parm is the absolute best in the business.

Agree on all points. Emrick is awful and love Ray Ferraro. I can't stand play by play guys who have a shtick. Stop trying so hard and just call the game.

I'm a big fan of Eddie O, shocking eh?

Even if he wasn't born in Chicago or hadn't played for the Blackhawks I'd still be a big fan. I love how he breaks down the games. Particularly replays. He's not afraid to call a guy out for making the mistake that leads to a goal. He's also quick to point out when a guy made a great play behind the scenes that lead to a goal or a quality chance. I get to hear him all year with Pat Foley though, so that definitely helps.

As for tonight, GO HAWKS! Hopefully my Chicago brethren will be watching this one live. 8)

Because he ran away from a five-year deal with Edmonton after the first year just because his wife didn't like the city. OOOH, it was too cold.

Get your balls out of your wife's purse and honor your contract, you gutless f*ck.

Some of the pictures you paint. :)

Good game going on in Chicago. 0-0 after one but the way its going it looks to me like only a matter of time before the Hawks are on the board.

Now I gotta get in 10 minutes of RDR before the 2nd starts.

I was very happy that Flyers-Canadiens got the Versus "B" team. Emrick is really hard to listen to after getting to hear Jim Jackson and Bill Clement for the first two rounds.

D. Bolland has been a one man wreck show in this series for CHI. He's got into the Twins' skin in the series the VAN and now is frustrating the heck out of the Sharks top line.

Toews is special.

Marleau's rebound goal with under 5 to play sends us to one of our favorite things to watch in sports. NHL playoff OT.

Same here. And yes Scoop, I watched live. I stand by my decision to DVR the last game, though. :P

BIG EFFING BUFF. Niemi was HUGE on those saves on Thornton early in the third, too.

Two points on Buff's game-winner:

1. Bolland's pass to Byfuglien was terrific, but don't overlook the fine play by Campbell to keep the puck in the zone.

2. HORRIFIC defense by the Sharks on the goal. How does San Jose let Byfuglien coast into the high slot untouched? Just look at the closest player to Byfuglien -- Dany Heatley. Fitting. Heatley is one of the most one-way players in the NHL. A lazy bastard who never would even attempt to pick up Byfuglien, let alone stop him.

They are the Sharks and this is the playoffs. I am surprised they got this far.

LONG EDIT: Nothing against the Flyers or my Habs cause they have made incredible runs but Toews will probably be skating Lord stanley's Cup in a couple of weeks.
Excellent team top to bottom through all lines. Well coached as well. Niemi was their only question and he has answered it.

Now after that premature coronation...f*** the Hawks and the Flyers.....Lets Go Habs!

The Sharks are really screwing the Flyers and Habs over. Whichever team wins the East, it's going to be a long, tough series.
